What? Bangs is posting again already? Dammit it better not be more tennis shiet, doesn't he realize none of us cares about tennis half as much as him? That's not even a real sport anyway...
"Near death experiences"
#1 - Okay so I'm driving to Michaels at Shoreline Wednesday night (forgot to blog about this), a restaurant where a fancy Lockheed celebration was taking place. I'm supposed to turn left from Alma to Shoreline... as I complete my turn I accelerate to maybe 40 or so... and suddenly notice there's curb right in front of me. The street was actually a ramp, which turned some 180 degrees. A loud screech accompanied my braking whilst turning. I kept control, but the noise was a touch embarrassing. NO SIGNS INDICATED A CURVE OR LOW SPEED LIMIT, WHAT THE FUCK. Maybe the city planners/civil engineers/whoever set it up in daylight and figured it was all good. Or maybe I was just stupid and missed the sign. 50-50.
#2 - All right so #1 wasn't a real near death experience, just stupid and a little dangerous. But this one... so it's the same trip, and I'm on Shoreline and passed through some gates to what I guess is a little community where fancyasspants live. Coming up the road... in MY LANE... are these two stupidass joggers, probably chatting it up about their yachts and poodles and shiet. As we come nearer, they make no effort to move to the sidewalk or even slow down. They're running in the damn road into oncoming traffic. Part of me wants to enforce common sense and just mow them down (the near death part). But then that would be a big legal hassle, so I slow down a little and go around them. I guess it does take a lot of heart to kill. Maybe next time...
Clouds are awesome
I may have mentioned this to some of you before, but two things that really fascinate me are fire and clouds. I can just sit, stare, and marvel at them. Not that I do so often, but it's an option. Anyways, the sky was gorgeous today. I hope everyone in the area had a good look because it was filled with clouds. I got to see them during the day, with all white, grey, and blue... then at sunset and dusk--oranges and purples. Nice, truly.
I am charmed
Or something. I remember a few years back we were playing cards and Steve said he thought I was naturally lucky, and Brendan agreed (both probably just bitter over a pot I just won). Anyways, I've noticed from time to time that things do tend to turn up Bangs. Back in school it seemed like whenever I forgot or neglected to do my homework, either (a) the teacher would forget to collect it, (b) the teacher would give us an extension on it, or (c) we'd have a substitute who didn't know what was what.
Anyways, here's what happened at work today. I brought a delightful lunch my mom put together for me. But when it was noon and I was ready to chow down, I noticed I was lacking both utensils and napkins. The walk to the cafeteria is 5-10 minutes, so I'd prefer not to take up precious lunch break time with it if I don't have to. But I didn't find any utensils around, and didn't feel like eating barbarian style, so off I went. It's a nice walk outside though, so I got to check out the clouds and a few nice cars in the parking lot. Anyways, I sat down and ate in the little outdoors area by the cafeteria. When I was about halfway through, one of the nice lunch ladies came out and just gave me a slice of pumpkin pie. I guess it was free. I really like pumpkin pie, and it was pretty good. So the point is: what first seemed like an inconvenience turned out to be a twofold delight. You never know what might turn up in your favor. Moral of the story: Bangs wins.

I'm in class right now and I should be typing queries right now, but I decided blogging would be way more fun.
Everyone did not get a just kidding, Derek didn't get one. But he doesn't write anything on here anyway. He probably never reads this either. He's smart.
Brendan: Let's box, you SOFTY!!!!!!! Two hits, me hitting you, you hitting the floor. We're not in Socom land anymore, you can't dominate! hahaha This is one is definitely not a keeper. He's too sensitive =D JUST KIDDING hahahaha. I would love to act in your movie...my two previous hits Sin Igual and Don't Be a Menace (Espanol style w/ a hoop dream effect) gave me great experience in the film industry haha. And write whatever you want. I'm sure I'll be the dirty korean, who is a part time alcoholic hahaha WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I'll see you on Socom.
Jonathan you are the epitome of not cool. But I like hanging out with you anyway, what does that say about me? Hmmmm....hahaha We have thorlo socks at TW so if you need any for a discount, Bryant can hook it up. Yes I talk in the 3rd person at times. W can't play tennis anymore because you've turned from good to extremely dominate. I've gone from ok to DAMN get that kid off the court! haha That's what I get for not playing for almost a year.
My teacher's face is oddly red. Like she has a full-time sunburn...weird. Group work is terrible if you don't like your group. For my senior project there are mostly cool people, but they're totally inefficient with their time. I walk my ass to school for a "necessary" meeting and we spend 10-15 min talking and assigning work. Easily could be done over the phone or e-mail. For my software testing class, I have someone who talks just to talk and he says a lot of stupid things. Andy doesn't even like him and that means he's gotta be bad because Andy loves everyone. This guy tries to be a group leader but takes on the easiest portions of everything we do. It's ridiculous and dumb. I also think its funny because he's 19-20ish and is balding badly, I know I'm terrible. *knock on wood.
Are you surprised that no one has written about our blog? People must have some pretty bad thoughts and they don't want those to be posted. Perhaps they're not comfortable enough to give us feedback about ourselves. It's ok. We have 4 people writing in this thing, even though our "team" has 6 members. Odd...don't you think?
But I do have one quote about us from Monique's Xanga journal and it goes like this....
"oh dear gosh... i was checking out bry & friend's blogger... and they have two new icons up for them.. props props to whoever drew them!!! they look jus like you guys!
the one on the left is supposed to be bryant... sooooo looks like him in the hawaiin shirt and the little finger motion making fun of poor jonathan!... haha. these dudes are too funny!
the one on the right is a high school friend, derek avery. i had to put it in cuz that looks sooo much like him...even tho i know most of of u girls dun kno who he is. hahaha.
but anywho... these guys are so amazing. i totally envy their friendship.. not that my friendships arent just as magnificent. its jus really great seeing thru their blogger how they are totally there for each other and care for each other... but its even more amazing hanging out with them in person. the dynamic of each and every personility in that group just bounces off each other so well and it is so hysterical! its always such a riot... and they NEVER get pissed at each other.. even tho the whole time theyre just capping on each other. hehe. thats friendship! haha. they truly amaze me. i never believed that a group of guys could have such a REAL friendship with eachother. prOps bry.. prOps!. you really are lucky to have such amazing friends!.. "
We are lucky...remember that...good friends are hard to find and I'm glad I've found a great group here.
On a side note...I think Monique and her Berkeley friends are the only ones to ever call me Bry...interesting...haha not really. Weird thought.
Time for class to end and meet w/ my red faced teacher....nap time....then SOCOM all night long....WOOO HOOO!

Uh huh. I want everyone to notice the fact that Bryant put J/K under pretty much everyone in his last blog except for me. For the record I am not a fucking softy. I will box anyone who thinks otherwise. I got no just kidding because I don't kid. I'm evil and I have diabolical plans for each and every one of you. Remember that! Well actually maybe I act tough to guard this sensitive interior from outside harm. I'm mean because I want to keep people from hurting me. Haha. That's funny...meanwhile I laughed at a girl who tripped over some stairs today...her 6 year old ass should have known better.
So the movie about Team Pooky. The script is actually being thought about. I need one final go ahead to write this script. Remember that making a movie is tedious and sometimes boring work. For the most part I'm sure this could turn out to be a fun project...seeing how we all play off of each other. I also need to put a disclaimer here: Anything I write you must not take seriously. Jon said it best when we could laugh at each other and ourselves without getting worked up in a frenzy. We have had some crazy stuff...well you guys have had some crazy stuff happen to you and I will look at that when I write the script. Of course everyone must okay it but just remember that anything can go. If you aren't okay with this then please let me know. I'm not going to take the motivation away from Metroid Prime just to write a script that will eventually be shelved. Respond back in the blog.
Speaking of responses I didn't get jack shit from pretty much anyone. I got one from my mom. I will post it as soon as I get home from school. For all you other readers out there...if we even have fucking readers, respond to anyone of us. It will then get posted if you want it too...or not. Of course these other five shit crumbs will edit the email to make themselves look better so it be best if you sent them to me. Haha. Okay well I"m about done. I have to go to class, turn something in and then walk out the door and get home early for a night of Socom, Spearhead and Metroid Prime. This computer lab smells like someone shitted mothballs. Fucking Fobs.
Peace. And remember kids: BLuckyDay is down by law...werd...Eecs is a nerd...who laid terds...sloppy sucka mutha fucka...fo'sho.

Re: LL's post
I care. (mehmehmehpowerconverters... heh)
Yes Bryant, I am certain that you must have been oblivous to signs of attraction in the past. Probably no big loss though. Except for those longing glances from BLuckyDay, that gal's a keeper. =D
"Not really my crowd, but most are actually pretty cool," huh. So... your crowd would then be mostly not cool. Look at these icons. Okay, so no argument here, but that's mean. Oh well, the truth hurts and I'm covered with bruises.
Tennis class
Ahh... I LOVE TENNIS. Heh another brief but utterly enjoyable class period that taught me nothing but gave me the chance to go out and hit some balls. So the coach seems to really want me on the team. At the start of class he told me he wanted to play singles against this other Jo(h)n, so we did so. We ended up just rallying the whole time, which is fine with me. I finished Visual Tennis, so now I'm reading Brad Gilbert's book, Winning Ugly. It's very good so far. Tonight I tried one of his tips--to start out nice and easy, going for depth and control but not hard strokes early on. I started to get into my rallying form, and eventually hit a little harder. But I was hitting the corners left and right, which Jo(h)n pointed out to me afterward, seemingly amazed. I'm learning to focus more on hitting my target rather than trying to put pace on the ball. I think after a while I'll be consistent enough to add that extra power, which will hopefully result in deadly force that will tear the other Lockheed players up. Wishful thinking, but at least I have a goal. So anyways, after class the coach told me to think about trying out for the team, and gave me a copy of the spring schedule. Apparently I would have to be free from 2:00-5:00pm, which is not happening, so oh well on that. And I'm still loving the Thorlo socks.
Blog feedback, etc.
Yeah, so word on the street is our readership has grown a bit beyond the core group (i.e. Team Pooky). If our antics haven't managed to alienate you completely yet (or even if they have), feel free to e-mail any of us... click on the names under the icons to do so. I'd agree that we're all actually nice guys, but our ability to laugh at ourselves and one another has evolved into an all-inclusive-make-fun-of-the-whole-world mentality. And we often take an extreme tone or point of view mainly for humor's sake... The world would be a better place if everyone were more like us. No touchiness, no taking pointless offense at petty things. Just fun times and good laughs at everyone's expense. Join us... love life... love stupid.

Whats up all....
Here I am for my weekly blog. I don't have a lot to say either to be honest with ya. I'm gonna elaborate on some of what Brendan has wrote to our readers.
I don't necessarily think that you all reading this are becoming stupider. I think you're becoming more enlightened to the lifestyles of 6 young individual...well 5, Jon's 23...old man! By reading our blog, you'll probably think, either a. these guys hate each other or b. these guys are stupid, yet somehow entertaining...haha I am hoping you're thinking more towards the "b" side. Brendan is right that we aren't assholes. We have a totally different style of humor.
Derek is a little bit of a flake (bball?!?!), but he's got some entertaining stories and I think he's had the most adventures. Back in his youth, he used to be a ladies man, god knows what happened since then.
Jonathan is Mr. Drammar, even online in conversations, emails, etc...I bet he's critiquing this as we speak. Good tennis player, one of these days I hope to beat him. Most likely not though, damn it! Let's play hockey Mo-fo and we'll see what's up hehe. j/k
Steve never blogs on this anymore, he's got his own. Mr. Fancy and his own blog! Don't you feel special! He's also a nice guy though. Amazing huh? j/k
Brian - good work w/ handling the situation. I would've kicked the SHIT out of those guys haha ya right! But as long as everyone's safe in the end, it's all good. Brian is now known as the guy who watches our backs and comes to the rescue. He's also Mr. Invisible who nevers comes home for breaks. No one wants to see you anway...j/k =D
Brendan, he's a straight asshole. Nothing anyone can do about that. But believe it or not, if you have any problem he some how rationalizes it so that it makes total sense and makes you feel more comfortable inside. He's a big softy inside and he knows it. He'll just never admit. Don't be intimidated or you've already made a mistake! The killing part, I don't know...I've been gone at school for a while...sky's the limit for him.
As for me, I'm the nice guy of course. I was Most Friendliest! I did not vote for myself for friendliest. I thought I was gosh darn Best All Around baby! Yes I'm modest hehe. I have a hugely sarcastic nature, with the crazy noises I make, facial expressions, or as Jonathan would put it, a SASS mouth. Just don't say anything totally ignorant around me, especially in a serious tone or I may not take you seriously for a while. But hey, follow Brendan's advice and sign my guestbook (bhlee3.tripod.com) Make it look like I have friends. =D Funny, ever since Brendan's little advertisement, two people have signed it! He should be a marketing major!
I would also like any of you to e-mail Brendan because I would be interested to know what you guys/gals (I want to be politically correct) think of us.
Onto thoughts that have come up this week. After a talk w/ Steve, we've decided that girls are crazy. Always seem to be playing some sort of my game w/ the fellaz. It's funny though because some guys never learn...COUGH...ME?! j/k I learn!....sometimes...no seriously I do...ok I don't...SHIT hehe.
Also love can be the best thing in the world, but when it ends, so does your world. That is until you find it again. Takes time...booooooo time! hehehehe
I also ran into a girl who used to go to PHS. Damn I felt hella old because I was telling her about what I was planning and things I've thought about (career, investments, family, etc.) and she was like "Dang, that's crazy! I never think about things like that, damn you're old!" I think she only talked to me because she knows I can string her racquet at a discount. Hahah oh dear! you know what's weird, is during the summer I couldn't stay up past 10, but nowadayz I can't go to bed until 3 or 4. This is a problem...I need sleep damn it!!!! I tried to get some sleep over the weekend but nnooooo I had to play videogames. They're the freakin devil!
My week has been kind of hectic, I have papers to write, my Senior Project, Database, and some Software tests to finish up for next week. Damn, my break is going to suck. I am going to be doing school work the whole time. That's what I get for slacking off and playing Socom, which kicks ass these dayz. But on a good note, I busted an A on my Strategic Management midterm. The weird part is I actually studied for that one. Studying works! Who knew? I tell ya, I need to be a manager of some sort. That's my calling hehe. Either do that or work at Tennis Warehouse my whole life.
Craziest thing that happened at work is that I met this guy, who's korean, his name is Brian and he has an older sister too. And when we were talking we had all the same shit going on, Korean mom nagging, own some sort of store and having to work at it, and crazy korean sisters who drove us nutz. I thought the coincidences were pretty crazy. It was good because I don't talk to too many people at tennis warehouse. Not really my crowd, but most are actually pretty cool. Interesting what happens when you actually talk to people haha. I'm soooooo quiet somedayz.
Another weird/funny thing that happened this week, while I was scanning a picture for my Web site, I looked at the back of it. There was some girl's number on the back of it, to those who wonder who it might be (Key Club...which girl did I talk about?..jonathan I know you know that one). I thought it was hilarious because the picture is almost 5 years old and I just discovered that. Damn, was I that ignorant? Or I did know she liked me but I was just not interested at all, but I wanted the picture? haha I always wonder if girls ever gave me signs in the past that they liked, but I just never realized or knew. All in the past, but got me thinking a little bit. Mostly likely not, but who knows...who cares?! Me, for a second or two =D
Alright, am I done babbling today? Wait, there's a little more....Jonathan I love the icon. So many inside jokes in one little picture, UNBEATABLE. That damn walls of Bryant is scary you stalker! hehe Good job though, I love it...thanks! Derek's icon is f***ing hilarious! Brendan, god damn (sorry derek no offense hehe), I laugh everytime I see it. Way better than Gaston! As for the Xmas thing, whatever you guyz want to do. I'm down for whateverz. Poor bastards...thought that counts hehe.
For realz, I'm done! Take care of yourselfz and I will be back Tuesday if anyone really cares...anyone care? Didn't think so, Damn! hahahaha I need sleep!

Ugh. So now Hapachan wants to draw his damn icon. After I finish no less.
Mental Abstraction is stupid. We love stupid. I love stupid. I hate Mental Abstraction. Go figure. It is funny how I have absolutely nothing to say other than I finished Dirk's icon. For nothing. Lets see if I can pull something out of my ass. Ooh crumbs. Finger licking good. Ewww. I figure I will write a little blog for people who read this other than the inner circle. So here goes.
I'm sorry. Everytime we upload something and you read it you are getting stupider. No question about it. Your emotions might also get a little jaded. Pretty soon you will not like Cambodians either. Or Canadians. We aren't really assholes on the inside. Well I am. But the rest of these numnuts are really nice guys. Except for Jon. He corrects people too much. It makes him feel like the bigger man. That's fine. I have the bigger package. And who the fuck wants to buy presents for themselves. Selfish bastard. (Hey Jon. Count me as a Yes on that one) But everyone else is cool. 'Cept for Dirk. He never calls to kill zombies with me anymore. He acts like he has someone else in his life besides Leon. Inside joke. Seriously though everyone else is thoughtful. Then again Brian did kick Mexicans out of his work. Minorities keeping minorites down. When will it all end? (Except for kicking FOBS...they are not minorities...just inferiorities. Haha.) Okay but the rest of them are courteous. Although Bryant does make fun of people who aren't as good as him in Socom. He is very mean. Most friendliest in high school? Two people must have voted on that one. One of them was Bryant. The other was the friendliest girl. She voted for herself. So the only one left is Steve. But he hates everything. Except frosted flakes and poonjabi food. So there you go. Your IQ went down ten fold after reading this last paragraph. You might not even be able to read this anymore. Your welcome. I did you a favor. Haha. But seriously. Some in the inner circle might object to this but I think it would be funny. If you have a thought on our blog and would like to share something that strikes you odd about us please email me. I will then post up some comments for the rest of the guys. It'll be confidential. Unless you talk shit. Then I will put your name down on this blog for everyone to see. Then I will kill you for the love of the sport. Feel free to express anything though! =) I love killing.

Snacks: Heheheheh... well, it looks like you don't have to worry about your icon anymore. ENTER THE CHEXICAN.
Brian: Don't even second guess yourself about that judgment call. You're worried you made a decision based on looks? Apparently those guys looked drunk, disobedient, and numerous. Like you said, you'd have to be a fool to keep pressing those guys if they didn't listen the first time. Especially if good ol' Paul was really being threatened. Besides, apparently those drunk bastards were littering--I HATE THAT LAZY DIRTY ASS SHIET. And on your job site, no less. In any case, no harm done... and good job keeping your employee out of harm's way, even if it was just his imagination.
Oh and you need to get some weekends off, fool.
Dream: Weird... the other night I had a dream that I was back in CYS baseball, little league styles. But instead of a bunch of bowl cuts and Lesli beating Steve down, it was my old friends from Price Middle School (the ones who went to Del Mar and I never saw again). I was playing first base--unusual. I had no mitt--bitchy. Not only was it hard to catch that way, it didn't matter because every time the ball was thrown to me it was a horrible toss ten feet or so away. So now I'm thinking twice about my triumphant return to T-ball. Dreams don't come true.

Ahh, I just got back from one of the most interesting days at work. It really opened my eyes a little bit about conflict resolution 'n junk. I'm going to share it with you guys just for the hell of it.
Scandia attracts many types of people, from innocent little kids to the wannabe hard-core punks. Tonight one of my employees, Paul, noticed about 10 Mexicans ranging from 18-25 were drinking in our parking lot. Scandia is privately owned, and one of our rules is no open alcohol on the grounds. Paul radios the situation to me, and I go to check it out. Before I get there, Paul is telling this group to leave, and that they are not to come back at Scandia. Not the smartest move confronting 10 drunk people by yourself.... Anyway, of course they take offense to the situation. I grab Paul and we move back inside. Normally that would be the end of it, but they continued to hang around and were getting louder. I moved Paul inside to do some trivial work, and I called the police. RP police love to take their time responding to our calls. After making the call, I notice that some of the drunks have moved inside. That really didn't bother me, but it scared the shit out of Paul. He said that threats were made to him. So, I moved him into the office, where only I have the key... Long story short, they leave and the police arrive 10 minutes later.
Normally that would be the end of it, but after I closed Scandia, they came back. I had a team of 3 with me, including Paul (Donno, why he didn't leave when given the chance...). They were standing outside the gates looking in. I had Paul hide in the "track house" while I secured Scandia... We have radios and he tells me he called the police. After a fun 10 minutes, police arrive and bust them.
Life should have been well and good, but I can't stop thinking about it. While locking down Scandia, I couldn't think why they didn't try to come in... The police tell me later that they didn't have a ride and were waiting on a taxi. And you know what? A taxi did come by after the police. I think we accidentally jumped the gun and assumed that they were back for Paul. I drive away and I see In & Out on the ground. I could imagine them walking to In & Out, eating and coming back. They did nothing after our closing... They were probably surprised that the police came to talk to them. Instead of me going out to talk with them, the police were called. What would have happened if I had gone out to talk? Would I have discovered that it was all just a misunderstanding? Did I not want to talk to them because of how they looked?
Anyway again, I'm just scribbling what's coming to my head, and it usually doesn't make too much sense, so I'll move on :)
I should be coming back for Thanksgiving, but I won't be able to stay for very long. I'm usually the one to work on weekends, so I'd only be able to stay a day or so... heh, remember that promise to stick with you guys more? I guess I'm still breaking it :( We'll see what happens.
Four weeks of school left! I can't wait to be done with this semester, so I can finally change my major to buisness. I'm a lot happier in the business field... The other day I took a look at some of my programs, and I laugh at some of the comments I made. One of my dear comments was "This function gets called... Not that it does anything." I'm surprised that my professors didn't die from laughter. Fun times...
Time for some sleep... Got another wonderful day of work and school tomorrow! Til next time!

Another icon completed at last... Bryant, why must you treat our friend Pooky so? He's just trying to be a good admin.
Thoughts on the upcoming holiday season...
(1) I hope to see everyone over Thanksgiving weekend. Thanksgiving is a good time to spend with family and real friends. We can all meet up after that.
(2) As for the traditional Christmas giftgiving, I came up with a plan to mix it up a little this year. Normally, we pretty much expect to give and get some stuff. This can involve a lot of frustrating brainstorming followed by tremendous expense (or, it can involve brown-bagged beef flavor, depends how much you care heheh). Instead of going through all that fanciness, how about we each figure out how much we normally spend, then use that money to get something special for ourself. We can all meet one day and surprise one another with our perfect gifts. No need for secret returns or hidden disappointment! No need to ask about anyone's current DVD collection! Then, just for fun, we can still get each other gag gifts if we happen to think of or come across good ones. And those are usually cheap. =D
I bought some Thorlo tennis socks. They're padded extra thick and it feels like I'm running around on pillows out there (in a good comfortable way, not an awkward get-foot-stuck-and-fall-on-face way). I recommend them to all sports playaz (they make em for basketball too).

Ok ok ok...this is the 2nd time I am writing this. The first time I pressed the wrong button and lost everything. That did not make me happy. But I am writing again so that Jonathan can be happy that we are using this blogger for good. =D So here we go again.....
Everything is going ok. School is pretty boring. I have a couple tests coming up and surprise surprise, I've gotten sick again. I think I have a disease because whenever important tests, projects, finals, etc come up, I get really sick. But I realized something today...I am going to miss one aspect of SLO a lot. The past few days it was raining hard and it was all gloomy outside. But today it was a good day, the sun was shining and I had some time before my next class at 2, so I sat down in the business building on the lawn and just relaxed. There is no other place that I know of that can be more relaxing than that area. The grass is so green, the air is super clean, and the sun was just warm enough. That is what I will miss. I can go sit in a park in SJ, but it wouldn't be the same. The air isn't as clean, it's always noisy, maybe I haven't looked hard enough for my spot. I'm sure all of us have a certain place like this in our lives.
This leads into my next segment somewhat....I think I've finally decided which path I would like to go down in my career. I want to go into management of some sort. I want to be the one to make decisions and create strategies to keep organizations, companies, etc...profitable. I like the control and I think I have a systematic type of brain where I can be successful in that area. When I grow older, I will either open up a videogame store w/ Brendan and Andy - details on that later or I would like to pursue teaching. In what field? Not sure, marketing, management, some sort of business courses. But definitely at the college level and I was thinking of retiring in SLO. It would be perfect, small town, peaceful, the beach near by, etc. This is very down the line, but it was kind of fun thinking it up, now we'll see if I can live it out. Things will change on the way I'm sure, but it's nice to know that I have some sort of direction now. IBM is my first step, what's next?????
Sorry if this is all random, I'm trying to remember my thoughts from the first blog....I just came back from a comedian that I saw on campus. His name was Mitch Hedberg. He was freakin hilarious. He had so many jokes, but he tells them so fast it's hard to remember so of them. I could write examples here, but it's so much funnier in person with the way he says certain things. I would check him out if you get the chance. He's random, sarcastic, but funny. Andy, Kevin and I were laughing our asses off.
Ok, my weekend...it's almost depressing, but I had a good time. Here's what I did....NOTHING!!!!! I sat home all weekend and played videogames and watched movies. I feel like I'm not taking advantage of my senior year, but it was fun, I didn't spend any money and I didn't have any crazy hangovers. Win win! I also got to hang out w/ Kevin and we had a cool talk about life, careers, future, etc. We haven't done it in a while. But I was happy to hear that he chose to work at KPMG to be closer to his friends. I was touched that I was part of that decision. I'm really glad to have met him and because of him I am happy that I chose to go to Cal Poly. He makes my whole experience worth it because I gained a truly good friend out of it. Hopefully next year we'll be roommates trying to be all responsible and shit. =)
Well, I got a call from Natalie on Friday, 7am...god damn! But it was good because there was a power outage and I needed to wake up at 8. But for the phone call, it was really cool hearing from her. We pretty much just talked about how we were doing, pretty basic and simple, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I realized I still care a lot about her, so those feelings haven't changed, but I keep telling myself to move on. It's just hard because maybe at the time I didn't realize it or appreciate it, but I could really see myself being with her for a while. I just have to keep reminding myself, let it go. Don't grow up too fast, and let things happen. I can't force the issue on anything.
As for trying to move on...kind of a funny story...so this friend of Kristin's tells her that there are two girls in her class that think I'm cute. One, I knew about and actually has my number, but she's never called, so I don't think much into it. The other one, I thought was this girl that I totally thought was good looking, but never said anything to because she had a bf at the time. SOOO Kristin tells me this and she writes her friend an email saying that I think the latter girl is cute. It turns out that this other girl is not the one I was thinking of and even worse, I have no clue who it is. So someone might get word that I'm interested. Ooops! Not good. Hopefully Kristin's friend hasn't said anything yet, or I'm going to feel kind of dumb. Anyway...that's my most exciting adventure of the week.
Brendan, we are dominant at Socom. It's ridiculous. hehe If only stupid Andy would stop being mad at the game (he doesn't like the community of players because they're bitches) we could be a real force. Or if stupid Kevin would buy a PS2 and a TV. hehe
Alright, well I think I got most of what I wanted down on this stupid thing. I hope this keeps people satisfied for a couple weeks hehe. j/k. I'll write whenever I feel like there's something meaningful to be said. Jonathan, nice Icon for Brian. Props to you and Brendan for your arts skillz...I wish I was that talented at something. I hope mine looks just as good ...Hawaiian shirt remember~
You guys take care...and I will hopefully see all of you at Thanksgiving time (Steve, Brian...u guys coming home?) Peace y'all

Herro people! I bow down to Jon and his icon making abilities. I truly am impressed. For once I don't really have anything to say. Weird. I guess I can send out a message to Hapachan.
MONEY? NEW HOUSE? INVITATION? NADA.
With that out of the way I guess I'll tell everyone about my spider thing I was raving about in the past. Supposedly in Cambodia they like to catch tarantulas and deep fry them. They say it is the equivilant of potato chips in the US. Right...chips. Anyhoo they eat these god awful creatures because it makes the women more fertile. That means the chances of having little Cambos running around on dirt avenue are higher...which then means the boats fill up. Then we have even more FOBS thinking they are black. So that is just another reason why I hate spiders. They spawn the lowliest creatures of this planet. Whee. Not that I'm racist...all the time.
I don't think you are allowed to tell us that stuff Jon. I think if they call me I'm going to tell them about all the work you are doing. I know...when we all get real jobs let's not share anything with anyone. That will save a lot of time we have to set aside for conversation. Funny how this Manjumanajama character shows up after Jon got a job at Lockheed. I'd watch your back. Well I wouldn't watch over your back...but you should watch over your own back. Terrorists show up in the craziest places.
I cannot believe this blog is about nothing. Haha I bet you anything when Brian saw his logo he did those arrow moves. Freak. Haha. Mental Abstraction is giving me a headache. Did I mention flash is bullshit. Well time for bed. Socom kept me up. I hate it when it does that. I had some guy on my team by the clan name of PMS. I couldn't understand him because of his lisp. I felt bad because eventually I would give away his position by throwing a smoke gernade where he was hiding. That way the whole enemy team knew where he was. I'm funny.
Oh yeah Eecs. You could change the blog name if you want. Maybe you are the only one with anything going on in our friend's lives...so congrats. You just made everyone feel like a worthless pedazo de mierda. Here's a smoke gernade for ya. Make sure Manaj doesn't kill you too much. Haha. I'm funny. Wheee. =)
PS: When is the Dr. Mario tourney? Doo daru do doo.
MONEY? NEW HOUSE? INVITATION?

Ah, the score. Perhaps the least obvious of the undercover zings. I'm sure if you ask any of the other guys what it means they can tell you. Or maybe you can figure it out, but there's a distinct reason you'd have more trouble than the rest of us. And it's not your straw hat and overalls.
Ah, another great night of tennis. Actually I started to think maybe I didn't have class since there was very little traffic coming out of De Anza, and it is after all a holiday for non-Lockheed employees. I got to the courts and there were two people playing. Yup, no class. But I had already decided I would hit against the wall and practice serving in this situation. So I hit against the wall for a little while, then... ENTER MANAJ (sp?). "You wanna hit?" "Sure." Man, I have the best rallies with this guy. We run each other around the court and feed off one another's power and angles. After a while it felt like there was a little rock or something in my left shoe. It bugged me and I didn't want it to irritate to the point of blister, so I shook the shoe out. Then the same thing happened to my right shoe. Afterwards it still felt like something was in each shoe. I realized the truth when I noticed the squishy quality to the foreign objects. It was the flaps. What the hell is Jonathan talking about, there aren't any flaps on the inside of shoes! Not flaps of leather or rubber... flaps of ball-of-your-foot-flesh. I guess that'll happen when you're running around, starting and stopping, changing directions all the time. It was worth it.
Oh yeah, first day of work heheh. My dad went to his building in Sunnyvale, and off I went to the Palo Alto site. My manager Bill let me in and showed me around, introduced me to the others in our group. My cubicle is okay... the room is almost exactly like at Northrop Grumman. I want to clean my desk and other surfaces I'll have to touch... I'll bring some handiwipes or something tomorrow. The atmosphere seems pretty laid back, people are friendly and Bill's cool. He said there's no dress code, no set daily hours, I can decorate my cubicle however I want ("no naked girls though"), and I can eat/drink and listen to music in my cubicle. But company policy forbids use of Hotmail or AIM. I spent most of the day getting acquainted with my computer and trying to set straight the spelling of my name in the company database and my e-mail address. It's still almost all men, but there's one girl who's young and has been there a year. There's no gym, and the cafeteria is small. I had a decent lasagna/salad/bread lunch, but it was $7. In no small part due to the Sobe drink I decided to try--"Orange Cream"... sounded good, but it's like drinking melted sherbet. I'll probably start bringing lunch soon. There was one young looking girl in the cafeteria, but she was all by herself around the corner of a wall and I thought if someone sat there they probably want to be alone. I sat outside where the sun was shining but a gate made sure there was no view whatsoever. There isn't too much for me to do yet, as Bill repeatedly pointed out. I can tell he doesn't want me to get too bored--he gave me a bunch of stuff about the project and the type of work they're doing to read/browse through. Tomorrow's another day, so far so good.
Maybe I'll change the name of this blog to "The Eecs Bangs Diaries, featuring Brian"

HEHEHEHEHEHEHE
I don't say this often... but when I look back on my work this time I smile. It took long enough, geez. Anyways, there's a contest involved: find all the inside jokes in Brian's icon and you win a date with him. If you're lucky he might take you to Sonoma Joe's!
In other news, I was eating some cookies'n'cream ice cream last night. I asked Reid if he wanted to finish the carton since there was about one serving left, but strangely he said no. I thought it was against my interests to do so since I'm trying to get in shape. But then I saw... "Premium Low Fat Ice Cream"... it was Healthy Choice, and the nutrition info showed that it's actually more good for you than bad--protein and calcium with really low fat content. Needless to say, I emptied that sucka. Healthy ice cream and chips'n'salsa... the world is becoming a wonderful place to live.
I finally really listened through the Boyz II Men "Full Circle" album. It's a big disappointment... I only kept two of the songs in my mp3s. I love "Oh Well"... I'd say it's one of their best songs ever (as B-man observed, it may have to do with timing heh). "The Color of Love" is okay, but typical Babyface style, nothing new or special. The rest of the songs I can do without. Too many of the songs are moving toward the modern fake R&B style--all beat and chorus, without true harmonies or slow melodies. This is like the last OutKast album... I didn't like it much, and maybe it's the end of my collections for both groups. Oh well, saves me money. There's still Dave... and who knows, maybe Michael will come up with another album or two. =)
I spent all my time Friday going through my savings plan investment options. It looks like after savings, benefits, and taxes... I'll be coming out with maybe half of my salary. Argh. Well, at least I'm not paying rent or car payments--yet. Speaking of which, I'm thinking next year I'll probably buy myself a car. So it should be fun to think about that and see what's available. You guys who know way more about cars than me can advise...

I know I usually write longer blogs but tonight will be short and to the point.
Class had to give presentations on a scientific illustration. Rules are: No illustrations on cartography, perspective or anatomy. You must also talk about the ART not give a history lesson of the illustration. Simple. First idiot brings in a fucking map of the world. Unbelievable. Second dolt brings in a illustration that utilizes perspective. Unfuckingbelievable. Third guy is Ari. He does good. Fouth peanut brained potzer decides to bring a beautifully illustrated...that is correct. A nude. With guess what? Anatomy. Wonderful. Everyone else who went decided to give us a history lesson on the carbon cycle (whom someone asked where does the carbon go and this biatch responds in a really fucked up Mexican accent...and I think she is Mexican...with, "it gets trapped in the ozone layer. Carbon is solely responsible for melting ice caps. Most people think it is heat but it is carbon). Funny I could have sworn on Ben Stein's money that carbon traps in the heat. I then got a history lesson on astronomy and the rainbow spectrum. Amazing. I don't go until Thursday. I'm thinking I'm going to bring a map drawn in perspective tatooed on my gonads. For those wondering the map will be of Earth and all its continents on my left nut. The whole universe will fit nicely everywhere else around that general area. Those idiots are in for a scrumptious surprise.
Saw Star Wars Episode II today. Yeah yeah big deal. Well I saw it with 44 speakers and on 75 mm film...hey isn't that IMAX? I believe it is. I decided why waste valuable time in class when I can go to the Metreon and watch "Who da man? Yoda man." (I can't believe Lucas would okay that trailer...JarJar's retractable penis must be in Lucas's mouth again.) Well that is it. Made some progress on Mental Abstraction. I gotta get some stuff up before my Thursday persentation cuz I'm going to plug it. Hey that is at least 15 hits if some people in my class check it out! Gotta go...the tatoo is really starting to hurt now...but it is so exhilerating...

Ahh... tennis class was good tonight. It was the kind of tennis I live for. When class started the coach told me to hit with this guy named Manaj (sp?... I think he was Indian). This guy was good. I'd say a little better than me--not dominating, but he had some strong shots and angles. So we had some good rallies and I got to run around a lot and work up a good sweat. The coach watched us for some of the time and told me things to work on (i.e. prepare earlier, bend knees and get down to the ball)... tonight alone provided more real coaching than all four years on the Leigh team.
Speaking of good tennis... In NEROP we had a presentation by The NErF (New Engineer Focus) Group. It's a group of fairly recent hires that volunteer to help us get acquainted to the work life--like Link Crew in high school. I met some guys who seemed pretty cool who are working on a tennis ladder. Any employees can join, and challenge the person above them on the ladder. There are no tennis courts on the campus (although they have paddle ball--da hell??), but they're looking into nearby courts we can use. There's gotta be some good players in the company, so I look forward to some good competition there too. Heh maybe I'll play Steve's dad, that'd be fun. As long as he doesn't throw a fireball at me.
Work today was nice and easy. One of those "I can't believe they're paying me for this" days. The whole day was pretty much just HR-related presentations on stuff I already knew (benefits, compensation, etc.). We finished early, around 4:15. About the benefits, it's interesting how well they sell things like life and disability insurance. We're all pretty young, and most likely don't expect to be maimed or killed in an accident any time soon. But still... for just a few dollars a week, you can make sure that if that disaster does strike... you (or your surviving family) will hit the jackpot. I just imagine myself sitting in a wheelchair, unable to feel my legs, begging for change on Telegraph Avenue and lamenting the fact that I was too shortsighted to make a small gamble in favor of my own ill fate. Or me dead, and my family saying "that selfish mofucka didn't leave us a goddamn shiet." They really need to clean up their language.

Well, to let everyone know I got back home safely. I was pretty damn tired though. I had to roll down my window just to stay awake. Damn me for not sleeping the night before hehe, but it doesn't matter because I got free Holders. I love my neighbors! Thanks for those who kept me entertained this weekend!
Let me tell you, halloween in Santa Barbara is nutz. There are sooooo many people just walking the streets it's amazing. There were some pretty cool costumes out there, but it would've been better if I would've drinken, just so I could've had the ballz to talk to people. I did take a picture w/ some random girl on the street because I was a tourist wearing a hawaiian shirt and she had the whole hula dancer thing going. So that was the highlight. I got hella lost and it took me forever to find my friend's apartment, plus to top it off I got a parking ticket the next day. Damn it!
Berkeley is still a pretty cool place even though I hate to admit it. It was exactly what I needed, just to be out and be social. Dancing, drinking, it was fun! Even though I did most of the drinking/dancing...but hey at least I was on the dance floor. I made an effort to talk w/ people too, baby steps. It was also nice kickin it w/ Kat and Monique since I don't see them all too often.
Poker is still the devil's game. I don't know why I still play it since I keep losing money. I start off on a hot streak but lose a lot in the end. I think it's the getting together w/ the boyz, chatting, joking around, and stuff that makes it more appealing. It was nice seeing the Horiuchi clan, mostly because they fed a poor, starving college kid. Also it was a gathering of Koreans (Bryant, Michelle, and Sarah) over there..haha we're taking over! Even though I don't know about Sarah sometimes....Brendan I think she was the brain...IRONICALLY j/k
Thanks Derek for calling us for BBALL or just to say that couldn't hang out!!!!!! =D I didn't want to see you anyway.
Even though I already gave Jonathan a congrats in person, he can have one here too....Congrats on the job! Welcome to the working world, it sucks, but the money is good! Oh and also thanks for your analysis on girls. I hate suspense, but I know it's a part of life and sometimes there can be good surprises. But I know we all have long lives ahead of us minus Brendan (dead before 30 right?) and finding the "one" will take some time. I feel like a higher being is playng games w/ me these dayz, dangling something special in front of me and then taking it away. But thats only because there's something better to come about right? I hope so.
This weekend gave me time away from SLO just to relax and to forget about my worries. I loved it. Hopefully the good momentum keeps on coming. Web site will be updated as soon as I can take 10 more pics w/ my ghetto camera...maybe my roommates so that they can get some love on it.
Steve, I wouldn't say that you are pure stupidity. I think you are in the pessimism realm, but you are slowly sneaking out it to become more balanced b/w optimism and pessimism. Reading ur blogs, u have happy ones that pissed off ones...but it seems to be more balanced these dayz. "With our powers combined"...?..thats pretty gay. hehe j/k
As for the job ranking, I would say Derek would be the next one to get a job because it always seems like he has connections of some sort all the time. I have no clue what he wants to get into or anything, but I'm sure he'll do well in it. Steve would be next on my list since you are graduating as well. Even though many people don't know what cog sci is, it doesn't matter. People have the most random majors and get random jobs, so I'm sure you'll find something. B/W Brian and Brendan, I would go w/ Brian because from the sounds of it, directing is a pretty competitive field and I have no clue how people actually get into the industry.
On an ending note, it is absolutely crazy how music can affect ur moods. Like I could be feeling hella good and then hear like some depressing love song and then I'll be feeling down, or vice versa. Or like we can play hella loud music to pump us up to play bball or hockey or something. Just a random thought. Good night =D

Haha Steve spelled it "Bryan."
Update for my personality type... instead of logic, it turns out I'm a square. Zing from the 50's, yow! Kids really do say the darndest things... =]
Nice to see Bryant this weekend, you better get back to SLO safely or else I'll never see those photos you took. Don't forget your tennis racket for Thanksgiving weekend.
Not nice to not see Derek... I hope you have a good reason for not kickin it like the boys.
Okay I'm gonna go watch Home Movies then get my 6-or-so hours sleep.

if i ever write a blog that's as fluid and deep as jon's last one, i'm gonna fuckin' publish that shit and sell it.
Wow. Lockheed huh? So now ur working at the same place as ur dad and my dad. Maybe all three of you can hang out sometime and talk about your top secret shit like three old foggies. haha. But yeh man, i had no idea you got a job. CONGRATS! Looks like you and Bryant are pretty damn secure in terms of the career stuff. I think next in line will be brendan, cuz i just got a feeling. And then Derek (i put him second to last cuz we're still in school)...i'm sure he'll find something. How can he NOT get a job with that spunk! that dazzling smile! that wit! Anywayz...
and then comes me...i'll probably be dead last to get a job..and that's even IF i get a job. No one knows what Cognitive Science is. And who the hell cares that i minored in Japanese Studies. Add to that that i need to go grad school. Add to that i have no experience. Add to that that i'm lazy. And you got one unemployed mother fucker who's not gonna be doing what he wants to. Hmm...can anyone say "office space"?
So expect that i will constantly be over to eat your food and complain about how much my job sucks. Or how much unemployment sucks.
So i went to Arizona this weekend. It was pretty damn fun. Had a good time...met a lot of fraternity brothers from the chapters in AZ...and as an added bonus, the guy who's place i was staying at offered to teach me how to drive a manual transmission. So i learned that and i just need to find someone who doesn't have an automatic trans in their car so i can practice. This will help a lot when the DD who drives a stick just happens to get drunk on my next clubbing outing.
On the way back i was thinking about this one conversation we had when i was home for the later part of the summer. How each of us has one kind of...attribute that is their personality. So i thought up ones for everyone.
I think it goes like this:
Jonathan - logic
Bryant - optimism
Brendan - pessimism/realism (more realism)
Bryan - carefree-ness
Derek - happy-go-lucky...like carefree...
Me - pure stupidity
I think that this is a pretty accurate portrayal of all of us. And of course our powers combined, we form voltron or some other shit like that..blah blah blah blah
Thanks brendan for the offer to off all those that flake on me. Feel free to shoot my partner also. Cuz she's a bitch.
Picked up another job at this place called Scripps Institute of Oceanography. I'll be working on a grant project that is working on how to turn analog images into digital images. I hope it's fun. And of course it has nothign to do with my major or anything. 8.50 an hour....not too much..but better than nothing.
k...i'm gonna sleep now. I hope everyone is doing well. And if not, then cry me a fucking river. hehe..

*** Work, Week 1 ***
So... I interviewed with, got an offer from, and have begun employment this week with Lockheed Martin. And didn't make a point of telling anyone. My position is "Software Engineering, Associate" and is full-time programming. Now you know. Check the archives to see what that's worth.
What a week. A sudden, major change of pace and lifestyle. Let's take a look...
NEO: New Employee Orientation, Monday from 7:30am to 2:00pm. Filled out forms and got a fat binder full of info about the company. Had speakers and videos covering the history of the company, benefits, security, etc. Had lunch with my future managers, found out I'll be working up in Palo Alto instead of Sunnyvale.
NEROP: New Engineer Rotation Orientation Program, lasts two weeks. Got another fat binder. They rotate new engineers through positions, to help them find their place in the company. Apparently we're still in the orientation phase though, no real work yet. We have a class of about 36--only about 6 girls. Ages vary, but most seem to be recent college grads. We have little icebreakers every morning. To my delight, it's not just a bunch of tech geeks. But then again, maybe I only think that because I'm one...? And unexpectedly, my former roommate Heiman/Raymond is working there too, so he's in my NEROP group. So is John Holloway, who I found out was in Brendan's Japanese video and other stuff. They are two of the few programmers I've met. Seems like a lot of mechanical engineers. I'd say they've been treating us well. We get breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and all the drinks we want every day. And the food is actually good. The day (7:30am - 5:00pm) consists mainly of presentations by various employees, a lot like college lectures. They've covered all kinds of work-related information, from listening and presentation skills to a 15-hour seminar called Understanding Space. We've also gone on tours of the facilities, checking out satellites and missiles.
9/80: My schedule is 9 days, 80 hours every two weeks. So it'll be 9 hours Monday through Thursday every week, with 8 hours Friday every other week. Three day weekend half the time--pretty sweet. And strangely, I haven't had trouble getting up at 5:00 every morning. Staying awake at work is a whole other struggle... heheh I joke. Kinda. The tough thing is realizing I leave home at 6, get home at 6, and have about 3 hours of free time before I have to go to sleep again.
Security Clearance: If you didn't know, Lockheed Martin is a major defense contractor, which means they design and build products for the government (i.e. military, NASA) such as satellites, rockets, and missiles. So a lot of the work is classified, secret or even top secret. The job I was hired for requires a government security clearance, so I had to fill out a tremendous form with information on my history and people who know me, and later I'll have to take a polygraph exam. They have to make sure I'm not a foreign spy or a drug addict or any such bother. So once I start doing that stuff, I won't be able to tell any of you what I do at work. Your loss.
Bloopers: On the very first day they already had two different misspellings of my first name. I was not impressed by that. Also, we had to get photo ID badges, and for some reason just on mine the lady printing them out put my Social Security number where my Employee ID number should've been. So I had to go back the next day at 7:00am to get it redone. Shitty.
Summary: I'm feeling good about this job. It'll be a deserved and interesting challenge, and I'll see some really cool things and maybe even meet some cool people. The pay and benefits are good (my mom can finally rest since I have medical insurance again)... I plan to save almost all the money I make, although the other day I went shopping and felt the old gadget craving when I saw the home theater and computer stuff. But I know I can control myself.
*** Berkeley ***
I went to pick up my diploma and junk from the apartment, sell my books, and visit some old pals.
Thursday: I was supposed to stay with Wendy, but she got mad at me (for the first time I can recall); it had to do with her picking me up from the BART station (I decided the story's too long and unfunny to make you guys read the whole thing, so ask me later if you care about the details). So I ended up playing some DrumMania/GuitarFreaks on PS2 with Elvin, which I enjoyed thoroughly. He had some APhiO thing, so I got dinner with Hung, and ended up going out with him and his friends and crashed at his place the first night. Believe it or not, we played "spin the bottle" and "if you love me you'll give me a smile." Fun times.. and yes, there were girls there, you homophobic bastards.
Friday: I had one of my old favorites, nachos grande, at the Golden Bear Cafe on campus, and since I was eating it at Sproul Plaza, ended up talking to a couple Christian Crusaders or whatever for a long time. We exchanged philosophies (funny how seemingly sensible people don't always end up agreeing with me) and I got a flyer fo free fo sho SCORE. Anyways I headed over to the bookstores to finally unload my damn texts, but found out that I can get a lot more for them if I wait until finals time. Great. Well, you never know when you might need a little extra chedda (knahmsayn?), so I said I'd come back later. I figure it'll give me an extra reason to head back up some time for sure. So the second night I meet up with a less-pissed Wendy, we get dinner at a good Italian place (she treated for my bday), and hang out at her apartment the rest of the night.
Saturday: I was gonna shoot some pool with Elvin, but before we left he asked if I wanted to "jam" first... Not being one to resist a good jam session, he and Kaho (his roommate) and I played some more DrumMania and GuitarFreaks. Kaho broke one of his drumsticks... shame. Afterwards Elvin and I played pool, and he dropped me off at BART. I headed down to the Oakland house for their Halloween party, where much fun and revelry ensued. I had planned on heading home that night, but was not quite in driving condition, so I enjoyed some instant ramen with Dave and Ryan while they played some online poker, and crashed on the couch. I left the next day upon waking.
*** Tennis class ***
No more lessons... all we're doing from now til the end of class is play matches. But I guess that's okay, I can learn from experience and try to apply what I read about in Visual Tennis (and what little I got from the class itself). Also, at the last class the coach asked if I wanted to be on the tennis team. I told him I might be interested. I guess that's accurate but misleading, since it's incredibly unlikely I'd be able to fit that into my now-very-full schedule. Oh well...
*** TV ***
I haven't seen Girls Club, so I guess I won't miss it when it's gone. I still watch Friends, although it doesn't seem to be as funny as the last few seasons. And now I watch Scrubs (right after Friends), it's good times. After about four episodes I'm convinced it's the only new sitcom worth my time. I don't have much time for Seinfeld reruns anymore, and can't stay up for Cosby classics. Pity the fool.
*** Video Games ***
Borrowed the BLuckyDay N64...
Pokemon Puzzle League: This is just Tetris Attack reinvented with less charming characters but more levels and challenge--I like it. I found out there's an S-HARD difficulty level, and it is ridiculous. I have yet to complete it (it doesn't help that you have to beat the Puzzle Master on your first try--lose and you get kicked back to the punk kid before him.)
Dr. Mario 64: Let me say this is an excellent puzzle game. It's innovative, challenging, has cool storyline graphics, and of course great Nintendo characters. But it is bitchy as hell. The simplest, smallest damn error screws you over for so long. And if your opponent does combos then you get screwed even worse, and with an annoying little jingle. Every time I hear it, I throw the controller on the floor, and stomp on it, thrice (heh just jokin Bre). Anyways, you can tell I'm not that good at it yet. I am still trying to finish Normal mode without continuing.
*** Girls ***
At some point, we all wonder if we'll end up alone. The thought is forced to the front of our minds when we are rejected, when we break up, when we graduate from college. Being the only one who's been through all of these, believe me when I say I feel it as much as any of you. I have no idea where I'll find a girl that will interest me... even harder, one who feels the same for me. But that's life. Remember how important it is to not know what's next. You never know what might happen, where you'll go, who you'll meet. I figured my chances of finding a girl in high school were bad--and I was right (sob). After a while in college I figured the same thing was gonna happen. But by a chance situation I got to know Lan and ended up with her for over a year. Who's to say when something like that might happen again? It helps to be out in the world and making some effort to meet new people, but sometimes you can only wait and see. Just think of it like a movie... do you want to be told the ending half an hour into it? Of course not, that will ruin the suspense and the experience. The same goes for life. Don't be too eager to get to the end of the story. Wonder. Hope. Anticipate. Let life be an exciting adventure.

Haha Derek double blogged. That means that your latest blog is not recognized by anyone but yourself. Your ticket will be mailed to you shortly by the admin.
Jesus shit. The award for being at one extremety then going shit right down the opposite way goes to...Steven Tamekuni. Frosted flakes huh? Don't even trip about that shit. You go and have a good time and don't dwell on how it happened. I'm sure once you get your shitload of work done it is back to good times. Hang in there good ol' buddy ol' pal. You would think that we would get used to people flaking on us in our lifetime...but nope. It is almost as if we expect it but when it happens we want to kill terrorists on Socom. So it is kinda like death I guess. Bottom line: Death to all who flake and Steve's partner will be dealt with accordingly by Brendan's .58 caliber bullet. Don't worry Steve it is no longer your problem.
By the way my mom just told me that Girls Club has been cancelled. WTF? They get two shows to try to turn in the type of numbers Friends are getting? Fuck Friends. Overrated anyways. Double meaning. Haha. Ugh...I'm just bitter. Seriously I'm starting a petition to get my girls back on the air. Let's see now...I have one signature already...but I can't read who it is from so I'll just assume it is mine. Unbelievable...Jon wants to talk about fucking revolting...I'll show you revolting. By the way Dirk...Jeanie is a character on Girls Club. Not sure if you knew that but there you go. So now you guys will be spared from my weekly synopsis of the show...sniff sniff. A moment of silence please...
Don Cheadle was on ER this week and will return next week. I wonder if he opts for supporting roles rather than the lead. I see how people can see him just as a supporting actor but seriously give the man a chance (if he wants it that is). Once again the man is keeping the black man down. Anyways check out ER next week. If you didn't catch it he has Parkinsan's disease...spelling? Well this was a blog full of clog. I guess I'll just go light some candles for my fallen show. There will be an open ceremony for all those who like to attend at The First Fucking Dogshit Church of Jesus Shit. Let me send out my apology to Hapachan right now. Haha.

Derek I got 4 votes against you that for 98% of me I have not changed since high school. I've always been who I am. Just cause you went through drama and had your time of anxiety, don't bring me down with you! Haha I win. On another note so we can end this conversation...GTA is waiting for me right now. I'd like to thank Ricki for going out and getting it for me even though she had a stomach ache. Maybe it is that time of the month? Wheee. I'll make it up to you by showing you how many different ways I can kill people! Oh for the record I am the first person to get into a helicopter and freefall down with the intent of smashing pedistrians with my body! Fun fun fun! Oh by the way...can you believe that Jeanie's boyfriend is cheating on her? No he didn't! =)
Hm, have I changed over the past few years? Yeah probably. I keep harping on the fact that I haven't changed emotionally, but since this topic came up I did a little thinking... A few months ago I was at the indifferent to everything stage. Bad stuff happened at work, school and home and I got sick of trying to please people. This time around, I'm starting to realize the punk I've become and am slowly starting to change, maybe for the better?
Thinking back to the first impressions... Let's see... Brendan seemed a little intimidating in YBA :) I still maintain that you didn't come off as an asshole to me though! Derek... I think the first time I really started to know you was during the Magic Mountain trip so long ago... And what's this happy-go-lucky voice I have? You were the one that seemed to have it more than me that trip! Bryant. Again, I think I really started talking to you during the Magic Mountain trip.... hah, "Oh hell, I'm stuck with these two in a room???" You seemed to have everything under control and you knew where you were going everytime you took a step. Steve... Believe it or not, I was looking for a "cool" friend my first day at church and you seemed to fit right in. Jon, right from the start, it seemed that you had such freedom! Not just in the sense that you were free to do as you pleased, but you seemed were capable of accomplishing anything just a thought.
This trip down memory lane serves a purpose... When we interact with each other, we discover something different and we adjust our views. I've come to admire Brendan for his sense of leadership, Derek for his devotion, Bryant for his decision making, Steve for his self-confidence/outgoing personality, and Jon for his quick wit and thoughtfulness. As Bryant said, I think that I've changed because of the friends around me and the views/qualities all of you have. I've learned to see the world differently by looking through your eyes...
Alright, enough of this thinking... Now I'm just going to write, since I do have a lot to say today....
I got up early this morning and had my whole day planned out, I'd finish up some homework, get a haircut buy some groceries and then head off to school. Boy was I in for a surprise. I walk out to my car and notice that my triangular window had been broken. Yup, my car was broken into again. I swear, you'd think I'd have learned after the first couple times. ARM THAT DAMN ALARM NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE. Interestingly enough, I did learn to take all my CD's out of the car every night so the punks couldn't take that. I did however leave my stereo in. Yeah, I'm an idiot. I guess I should appreciate the l33tness that is my stereo as it's survived 2 attacks. That's right, they couldn't get it out. They did however take the time to open my trunk and take a peek at the nasty towel I have in there. End story? I'm short $250 (to replace the window) and the thieves got zero. Why am I not mad at this? Probably because it was my fault, nothing was stolen, and this happened at a pretty convenient time in my life (I actually have the money, and I'm not missing anything if I don't go to class...). It does however serve as a wake up call for me... My car now gets alarmed EVERY time. Live and learn... I now bump my music as loud as possible everywhere I go just in case the would be thieves are around. My way of making fun of them :)
Don't you think Final Fantasy X-2 is a fantastic name? X-2... Final Fantasy 10 part 2, or Final Fantasy 12. I thought it was clever... Unfortunately, I don't like where Square is headed... Are they starting to get scared of making different worlds? Have you noticed that trend in gaming? Let's see what's on my desk... Icewind Dale II, WarCraft III, Heroes of Might and Magic IV, Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix, Beatmania 6th Style, Unreal Tournament 2k3... You get the picture... Innovation! I've always admired some of the Japanese TV shows for knowing when to end a series (Well, most of the time.) Take the dramas that come on every Saturday night. They END. Have you ever seen "All my children" end? Take most anime series now a days... You get 2 or 3 seasons and they conclude... *sigh*
Change is the topic of the day huh? Well, I think we've all changed whether minor or major. Like for me I don't think I've changed a lot but I'm sure some of you will say I that I have. I think for myself I am a little more confident, but I also do a lot more thinking then when I was in high school. I think I'm way more sarcastic than I used to be and maybe that takes away from the nice person that I once was. People in high school always thought of me as the nice guy, but if they really knew me I don't know if they would say the same. I can be a downright asshole sometimes. Most of the time I'm just joking around, but still.
As for Brendan changing....I think he's still an asshole, maybe a little more so than a few years ago. But I didn't know Brendan was such an asshole back then. Behind the asshole though is a great friend and listener. You just have to get his attention sometime. Derek has made a change where he doesn't even care what people think anymore. Back then he used to care at least a little bit, now he doesn't care at all. He speaks his mind a lot more and doesn't sugar coat anything. Steve has grown in confidence every year that I've known him and has become a little less bitter. I'm glad that he can see the good things that he has in life. Jonathan has more of a SASS mouth then when I first met him. I thought he was a quiet, shy guy, but OH no! He's a talker. hehe. Brian, I didn't know you back then, so I'm not sure what you were like, but you're a good guy now, so I'm sure you were the same back then.
I think we all learn from our experiences pretty well, most of us at least, maybe not me. But we take everything that we've seen and heard from each other and try and apply them in our lives. But in general I think we're the same person deep down, but we have subtle changes in our personality or the way we talk.

On the contrary Hapachan...to you it seems like I've changed...but really when we first started to hang out you didn't know me. I come off as an asshole if you aren't persistant enough to crack me. Perspective on Christians...God doesn't exist. I've always been open to other's opinions. (Friend's opinions...everyone else is still wrong.) It is just that I never had a friend that was all into his religion like you so of course my perspective on your religion has changed somewhat but deep inside you are who you are. Take a camera for instance. You can change perspectives by changing lenses, position, shutter speed and so on but the camera is still just a camera. I'm not saying that a person doesn't change. I'm just saying that in these four years I haven't really. I haven't had any real drama in these past couple years...the core of all my problems is Socom. That's about it. Oh and they keep giving me reruns of ER. That ticks me off the most. Anyways enough with us going back in forth...let's see what these other three gentlemen think about this. Of course they have all changed because things have changed dramatically in their lives. I'm just saying for me nothing has really changed in these years. Therefore I haven't really changed...'cept for Girls Club. I must somehow find a way to watch that in my busy schedule of sleeping and socom and soon GTA: Vice City.
Hmm interesting points Hapachan. Except for the fact about us changing. I haven't changed. If you think I have changed ask anyone who knew me through high school. You don't count cause we didn't start to hang out till later. Even Bryant! Haha..just can't get those classes together! I was selfish then and I'm selfish now. Long live the no responsiblity of checking in with a girl! Besides...who needs girls when I got "Girls Club"? Exactly. On a further note how exactly do you blow a 5 run lead? I will agree with Bryant in saying I'm not a "true" fan. I'm not. Baseball is stupid. But since they are the home team it would have been nice if they won it since they lost in '89. Oh well...I don't know how I'm going to recover...I think I'll go for the Expos next year.

Well, day two since everything has happened and I'm still ok. Taking things one day at a time and trying to keep a positive perspective on things. I decided it was time to thank some peeps for their insight and for just being there for a lovesick young fellow in San Luis Obispo.
Brendan - you're weight on this topic is just as good as anyone else. You've been there through it all and I've told you all my feelings. You gave me great advice and have supported me with whatever I've done. I know you weren't specifying Natalie in the end, I figured. But thanks for the explanation, it was an interesting analogy, but it made perfect sense.
Derek - I'll try to remember the bros...it's a little harder since everyone is so spread out (SJ, Sonoma, SD, Berkeley, SLO). Whether she's truly worth it or not...isn't up to me. I always thought she was, just because of the way she made me feel, but I can't rely on that...let God/fate take on where I go. But thanks for the support. I appreciate it. I hear you're in my neck of the woods now, can't wait to see your new place.
Brian - Thanks for the insight. I know being friends will be tough, this will take some time, but in the end I think Nat and I will be good friends. But, of course, I'll never forget about my feelings for her. Only time will tell where I go. Time sucks! hehe
Steve - Why are our relationships the basis for everyone else to work with? hehe I hope we're giving everyone experience on what to do and what not to do (Brendan I hope you're listening to what we go through, STAY AWAY FROM RELATIONSHIPS! j/k). I'm glad that you listen to me about my optimistic stuff. I've been trying to smile and keep my head up. Thanks for being there, even though you're the farthest away, it's comforting to know that you're there for me.
Terri, Ricki, Kristin, Monique - Thanks for all your support and advice. All of you have proven to me that I have some awesome friends who will always be there for me. Thanks Monique and Kristin for boosting my confidence and letting me know there are other fish in the sea. Ricki, lil sis, even though you're young, you've given great advice and have taught me a lot. Terri, even though it's been a while since you've had to deal with things like this, thanks for sharing your experiences w/ me and just being totally supportive.
Andy, Kevin - Even if they don't read this thing at all, I want you all to know that these guys have been taking care of me in SLO. Keeping my mind occupied and gave me an ear when no one else could be here. Without them, I don't know if I could get through this. Thanks for everything.
I might not have appreciated my friendships before, but know that I fully appreciate all that you guys have done for me. I'll be here for any of you always and you can be sure I'll make time for you if needed. And for all of you, I'll try to keep smiling. Thanks again, much love to you all, Latez =D

Okay now that I'm awake and have gotten to read my story...sorry for the confusion...ugh if you look at the time I posted I probably wasn't thinking gramatically correct. I just wanted to clarify something in my story...
__________________________________________________________________________
Okay as a side note just to make sure you don't take my story the wrong way...this blog is almost done don't get all antsy on me now...don't think that it is impossible to stay on a plane...the difference is that while you might have to jump out every once in a while both you guys were aware of where you were going. In turn both of you guys will buy tickets to the same destination and eventually get there together! =)
__________________________________________________________________________
When I said both of you I DID NOT MEAN you and NAT. I cannot tell the future. I do not know what will happen. What I meant to say (and didn't come out right) was that in future relationships with whomever there will still be ups and downs. But if both you and your girlfriend are on the same wavelength you will work through it. I just want to make sure that you don't give up on love just because of some experiences in the past. Get it? Good. Sorry for the fucked up story.
By the way...DEREK:
God?
Gay.
So there.

To Bryant: I know that my advice might not carry as much weight as the rest of our group but at least know that I understand. I'm kind of like one of those fish that give hickies to sharks...I experience things through all you guys but since I'm on the outside I tend to see things differently. When the shark eats something I'm not going "mmmm that was good"...I'm saying "holy shit that's fucked up" but since the shark is the one eating he is thinking it is okay. Hmmm...bad description...Anyways no ranting about movies or games just some thoughts flowing through the keyboard...
I still don't believe there is a right and a wrong way of doing things when it comes to relationships. In a relationship we open ourselves up and become vulnerable. What is worse is that we open up our heart which is essentially our strongest and weakest weapon. Natalie and you were at different places in your lives. Obviously when you guys thought you were okay after you talked in San Jose both of you held stuff back. Both of you went away from each other thinking different things. The feelings you guys hid came out while you were apart because it is easier to be honest with someone when there is some distance between you guys. Either way through this new found honesty I believe that you realized that it was not going to work right now. So in turn you felt as if you should be honest with her and tell her you shouldn't talk to her. After hearing things about the relationship through you I feel you made the "right" decision based on what you felt was "right". The biggest thing is that even though both of you were close you couldn't settle it face to face. Don't read into this the wrong way...its not your fault or hers...it just didn't work.
Another stupid analogy...both you and Nat get on a plane. We'll call this plane Relationship Airlines. Both you guys decide to ride together but then realize you bought tickets to different destinations. Both of you talk about compromise but in the back of your guys' head your thinking that your vacation spot is nicer. You try to control the plane towards your vacation spot and she is trying to control the plane to her spot. Suddenly the plane loses control and hits turbulence because both you guys are steering towards different directions. You try to get control of the plane but it just won't get back on track. Nat jumps in and tries to help but since both you guys are on different wavelengths and have different solutions to the common turbulence the plane won't straighten out. Suddenly the plane loses control and both you guys have to jump out. You jump out and in typical Bryant fashion you start to fall hard. Hurling down towards the Earth at some God forsaken speed you start to think all is lost. You feel empty because somewhere along the line you should have seen the turbulence coming. You start to think about what went wrong and you start questioning yourself about whether she had the right solution or you had the right solution. Either way the Earth is starting to get a little closer and you can feel your stomach coming out of your throat. What the fuck happened? What am I going to do? Why did all this happen? Here is the catch...while your hurling down you of course are panicking. Since you are all panicked and stressed you forget about this parachute on your back. This parachute is filled with the good things in your life. It consists of your family and friends and the bright future you have waiting for you. This is what will slow your descent. It will not make it go back up because that is not what the life of your parachute allows. It can only help you hit the ground gently...its just that when you were falling you totally shut out your parachute because you were panicked. So now you are falling gently but you still can't help Natalie out. You have to let her figure out how she wants to handle her jumping by herself. I can already hear you guys' going what the fuck is he talking about. Here is the summary.
It is okay to feel lost. It is okay to feel sad and panicked but you have to eventually come to terms and think about what you are going to do to cope with it. All of us on this blog will help find you if you need us. You just have to have the confidence in yourself that you made the right decision. Of course by the "right" decision I mean you felt it was the right thing to do. And that my friend is more than you could ever ask of yourself. You realized that maybe this is unhealthy for me right now and you remedied it. Now its only going to take some time for you to get back on another plane. You might think that you might never fly again after that horrible experience but then again do you wanna walk for the rest of your life? I know your saying that I've been walking and it doesn't seem to bother me...but you are mistaken...I just have an invisible McLaren F-1 with the license plate that reads SELFISH. Anyways onto the epilogue of my fun story...
After sometime has passed you are back up in the air flying. Just as you will never ever forget your fall from the plane before you will always have a place for Natalie in your heart. Suddenly you notice Natalie at the airport waiting in line to buy a ticket. It is important for you to not forget about what happened in the past. By then you know you will be a better person for all the pain you had to endure. Did she buy a ticket to the same destination as you this time? Who knows? You might see her two rows ahead of you or heading towards a different terminal...point is you can't worry about it...you just have to let it be. And while doing that be happy, optimistic and hopeful towards all bright things in the present and future...you know...in typical Bryant fashion. =)

Okay I'm done...sorry if this was so long...I hope this helps Bryant. It might seem a little strange but if you are confused give me a call...I just figured with a story it would be more fun to read. Excuse the typos...like I said...thoughts through the keyboard...For all those who thought this story was stupid...we love stupid right?
PS: I will admit this now...I watch Girls Club. It is my new show. I like the way Gretchen smiles so there! Just thought you guys could take your shots before I see you in person.

hmm.. maybe i shoud have rephrased myself.
I guess bitter blogs are fun when the bitterness is happening to me. i'll go into this more on my blog. I don't wanna talk about it right now.
yes bryant, i totally agree with you. Being that you are the optimistic one, I truly pains me to see you suffering like this. I know that when you write something bitter that something is very wrong. I wish things could be better for you. I wish things would have worked out. I wish there was something i/we could do for u. I know things are sucking pretty bad right now, but it's just like what you told me when i was going through all my funk, "things will get better". It's too bad that you have to wait for that better-ness to come around, but maybe it's better that way. Because then you'll appreciate the sunny days over the cloudy ones. I know what it's like to have to push someone far away from you because you know it's the best thing for you. My friend told me once "it's a lot easier to do something that's bad for you in the long run but makes you feel okay, than to do something that is good for you in the long run but makes you feel horrible". I had to push someone away from me, and for the longest time I hated the distance that i had created between me and her. it hurts. it sucks. it blows. but it's necessary. I found that when the feelings for her were gone, i was able to talk to her and be a better friend. I'll have to agree with brian however...i found that it was way too difficult to be friends after i had done so much to try and become her BF. time can heal, but emotions have a tricky way of hiding away and popping up at the worst possible moments. Kind of like erections when you're going through puberty. Sorry.
It took a lot of balls to do what you did. props.
i hate cliches, but "just give it time". Once you get over her, you'll feel better, and then you'll really see if the friendship is truly worth it.
keep your head up. As always, if there's anything i can do, let me know asap. take care buddy.

Whee, I love to impluse buy! I did pretty well on my midterms, and to celebrate I went out and bought a game cube... Now i'm just a farming maniac :) I'm actually having a lot of fun with that system, and Animal Crossing = best game ever. I happened to buy Eternal Darkness and Resident Evil (To keep with the October spirit), and they're pretty fun as well. ED was a fun adventure, and Resident Evil looks too damn good. I'm just running around in the game to see all the neat backgrounds.
Uh yeah... Let's see what else... Went to see Ring tonight. Damn, I'll be having nightmares for a little while! That movie wins the most creepy in my book. It's so refreshing to have a movie like this compared to all the hack and slash shiet that's out there now. The night before I was up late watching Candyman 3 (oooo) and the only thing that would have scared me was the "jumping" scenes. I'm thankful that Ring is much more. Go see it guys! (And I agree with Brendan about the ending(s)!)
Oh, I came across a neat little demo while surfing the internet the other day... Animusic has a neat little video of a program that renders some crazy 3D scenes to midi music. I can't explain it too well, but it definitely takes way more CS skill than I will ever have. If I get the DVD you guys have to see it!
As you can guess I'm now a "consumer whore." Hopefully this'll end, and I can get back to *cough* saving for that car.
Hmmm, and as for the icon, I suck at drawing/photo shopping, so it'll probably take me at least a year to come up with something decent!
Bleh, can't think of anything meaningful to end this little blog, so I might as well get some Z's....
Edit: Well, I see Bryant has made a post as well! I gotta say man, that takes some major courage to do what you've done, I'm proud of ya... I think you're definitely heading in the right direction! Keep your head up! Here's my personal insight, take it as you will... During a break-up it's so much easier to pretend not to care, but it hurts YOU more in the end. By telling her that you need time away, you're giving each other time to adjust to the new life. "Getting over" someone takes various amounts of time depending on the person, and this buffer time allows you to re-think without making more drama. When you've become comforatable with yourself you can start to reach out again. Personally, I'm starting to think the whole friends after lovers thing is just a twisted little joke. It is certainly possible, but not right away. I fell into that trap before and it's no good. Besides, time away doesn't mean you automatically forget about each other, it's just putting your life back into some semblance of order. "To repair a building that has a faulty foundation, you must tear it all down and start anew." Just my 2 cents.

Well guys, here is where I am at today. I have officially had one of the hardest nights of my life. I had to tell someone I really cared about that I didn't want to talk w/ them anymore for a while. What sparked this was we were talking and she told me that she was talking w/ a couple of guys. No dating or nothing like that. Just meeting two guys and wanted to get to know them more. I was devastated and of course I was hurt, my heart broke in two. And I realized that if I am to get over someone, the best thing I can do for now is to not talk with them (if anyone has a better solution, I would love to hear it). It's unhealthy for me to think that I can get over her by being her friend right now and being totally unbiased. It was naive of me to think that I could do that. So I told her. She didn't take it too well at first because she thought that I was jumping to conclusions, that she would actually date them. But does it matter? It didn't because whether she's dating someone new or not, I still care for her. While we were talking, I almost broke down in tears because I knew I would miss talking with her. But I know inside that this is what I have to do. To truly become her friend, I have to be over her. That's only fair for both of us. And I'm not ruling out that our paths will cross again someday, but I can't put as much stock and hope into it as before. I need to let fate decide how my future rolls, because I can't control it. Like in a conversation like this, it never ends on a good note, but I think we ended it the best we could. We both have an understanding and she told me that if I ever need to talk, to call her.
It sucks because we want different things. I wanted a relationship w/ someone I loved, but she wasn't sure what she wanted, so it wasn't fair to keep me hanging on. I'm totally glad she was honest with me about everything and told me that she might have interest in someone. I appreciated it. I know she still cares about me and still loves me. She has shown me nothing but kindness during this whole thing, which makes things even harder. It would be so much easier to stop talking to someone if they were being a bitch to me or something, but she never was. But she is young and she's got so much of the world to see and people to meet, it wouldn't be unfair of me to hold her back. And it's not like I'm totally anti-social, but I know who my real friends and those who I want to be friends w/ in the future. I've done the partying, I've done the meeting of people, and I'm content where I'm at. Timing is a bitch and it's always going to be my biggest foe. I just hope I didn't fuck these things up because I would hate to ruin a potential friendship that her and I could have.
As for bitter blogs being fun, they are, but I don't want to be bitter anymore. I want to be the same optimistic, happy Bryant that I once was. So until that happens, you guys won't hear anymore about this. I think I've written plenty about my relationship and my crying over how I'm so out of luck. It's over. Time for the healing to begin. Where do I start?

Okay I will keep this short. I know I haven't written anything important in this blog EVER but I need to bring your attention to this one only because it bugs me! So when I rant on and on about this one you will know what I'm talking about.
Final Fantasy X-2.
1. NO Final Fantasy has had a sequel.
2. Sounds good on paper. I loved FFX.
3. Square have awesome design artists.
Subtract all these and you get this...(I don't know how much they update so depending on when your reading this you might not be able to see it.)

sorry if my posts are bitter
but lets face it. Talking about the way life jacks u is a lot more fun. Yes we all have some good stuff on our plates. But I dont like talking about it!!!
So i get an A on my test or i find two hundred dollars on the floor. "Hey guys! I got an A on my test!" Who cares??? except for me? no one. On the other hand, if i start talking about how I overslept and was all pissed and in my anger I slammed my own fingers in the door. Well, hell, that's fucking funny. And then we can all go into a funny conversation about stupid shit we've done when we've been in a rush.
I'm not bitter. Life is good.
But talking about my own personal gains makes me feel arrogant and selfish. I do'nt like that. And because "the japanese side" of my upbringing thought of bragging as the lowest of the low, i can't do it. I don't like talking about how the sun is shining in my life. I'd rather hear about your good day, then critique my own
I'd rather talk about the time i tripped on a rock, and hurt my foot. Then we can all laugh at it, which helps me cuz i can laugh at myself. Then i can see what i've learned from it, thus turning a painful experience into a learning experience.
Don't get me wrong. It's wonderful to see the good shit in life.
But creative conversations joking about stupid stuff that's happened to u during the day is a lot more fun =)
to me, jon's blog was funny. It shows he's still human and that even bitches who can't make a fist can have bad days..hehe jk
rooms a mess time to clean
midterm tomorrow about the universe!! I'm gonna put all my answers down as either "pluto", "your ass", or "I'm not the one with the degree dumbshit. Why don't you ask yourself?"

Okay so my class for 1:00 was cancelled. However I was not happy about it. My next class is at 7:30 pm. This means that when I got out of my class at 12:00 I found out I had seven fucking hours for a break. What the fuck am I going to do for seven fucking hours? So I decided to go see Ring. Holy jeezus shit. Now these are just my opinions so don't get mad at me if you don't like it.
I overall enjoyed it. There were times when I said (screamed inside my head) "what the fuck!?! The director can't do that! That's fucking dirty!" This of course does not mean the movie was bad but rather when the predictable does not happen when you are ready. It only happens as the shit peaks out your ass. Now I don't think that I scare too easily and I am one of those people where I can see shit coming (ahem...Six Sense sucked shit) but I was fucking delusional while watching this.
"Scariest movie since Blair Witch Project" raves L.A. Times. First of all Blair Witch is bullshit. The only people that like Blair Witch are fucking FOBS only because they can understand it without translation. The only shit they needed to know was in fact "oh shit". Ring is by far superior. If you liked Blair Witch...get on the fucking boat...the village needs you now for the annual monkey throwing competition. (They can throw humans that far?)
There are actually two endings within the movie. The first ending...you know that scared feeling you get when something could happen to you...you feel that for 30 seconds nonstop. It was great. The conclusion...without saying anything about it for those that haven't seen it...the ending was horseshit. Way to go Hollywood for taking it one step too far...I hope they didn't buy the rights to the two Japanese sequels and prequel. Either way the point of this paragraph is that Akira will suck shit because they will fuck up the ending. Wheee.
Oh by the way I found out that I could watch Noami Watts without the lesbian sex scenes. Simply amazing. =)
Now since I have been doing nothing useful in this blog I will say a few kind words about...myself. Yay. I'm doing good. I've got motivation. I'm working on my webpage again. I actually feel like writing a script about all of us. I already pitched the idea to Jon. He liked it. Hopefully you will too. Grand Theft Auto comes out soon. I'm happy. Finally get to sell back Socom. Well that is all I've been up too...jack shit.
As a friendly reminder to Mr. Asai. I will fucking make your icon look gay if you don't get something up. I will make yours the stain upon this blog. Get drawing now! By the way...THIS BLOG IS BY BRANDON FOUR PEEPL HOO KANT REED SO FUKKING GOOD...AHEM...DARRICK.

Derek Derek Derek... if Steve had posted that blog, do you really think the note would say "Steve your last blog... when [I lived] in Florida..."
And I'm the one living at home.
Also, I'm the one sporting the silver bullet steez.
And I'm the one who plays tennis enough to complain about it.
But anyways, Steve and I have been hanging out for a really long time.
Too long, some might say.
But those some are just whiny sissies who bitch over petty shiet like cookies and phoneclicks. =D
My point being, from time to time Steve and I express our bitterness and anger in similar fashion.
And all you have to do is read the name at the end of the post.
Oh and the "note" thing is in fact an untapped resource that I haven't told anyone about. That resource might just be called ingenuity though. So now you know. And knowing is half the not getting laid.
In other news, I am in a good mood because I just watched Made and all the special features (after posting this I'm gonna watch the commentary). The extra scenes are hilarious... for some reason I especially cracked up when Ricky (Vince Vaughn) tells Horrace (Faizon Love) when they're at the zoo, "that sniffing shit is revolting, there are kids around." I think it was in Alternate Scenes... Hehe revolting. Gotta use that some time.
