I finally saw Matrix. I was going to write a review of it from my viewpoint, but then I figured we all know it is absolute horseshit anyway. It's overrated and stupid. The only thing saving that movie is the freeway scene and Monica. She is so hot for being so old. Well not that old...but old in our standards. Either way Matrix should be renamed to Monica. Fuck that movie.

Wario Ware for all you GBSP fans out there. I love this game. It's fast. It's addicting. It has a full version of Dr. Wario that plays just like Dr. Mario. You can't beat that. It has games from all Nintendo systems including R.O.B. and Virtua Boy. I wasn't expecting much and I can see how it can get tiring...but its just like Tetris. Simple as fuck. You get tired of it after playing it too long, but you can always come back to it. Awesome game. Castlevania AofS will have to wait for now. That and I have no money.

So Tony gets to stay for a couple more days. Awesome shit. Hopefully I'll get to see you before you take off. Cards this Friday anyone?

MentalAbstraction was updated on the digital front. Check it out. You might like the 3 paintings that are up there. Ugh...

This is a quick blog and I promise to blog longer later. But then I realized that this blog has gotten quiet on the SLO front. Where are Captain and J? I mean I can see the shoutbox is changing so why not blog? And for that matter...SOCOM?!?!

Okay I gotta go. Reiko is getting too much into Wario Inc and i can only imagine once my mom figures out she can play Dr. Mar...ahem..Wario in the dark. So I'm gonna go knock my sister down to the floor and grab the gameboy while its in the air. BLIP. That's a little thing that stands for Blogg'n Later I Promise. Werd. Start spreading that shit around.

Blip mutha fuckas.

May 20, 2003

Wow...

I'm sorry to everyone this is a mess and stupid and it's my fault.
Like Derek, I will deal w/ everything else outside of the blog.

Wow...speechless...

May 19, 2003

K - R - I - S - T - I - N. Get it right.

For the record all this lion fucking talk is driving me crazy. I'll just assume that you morons up in SLO cannot fucking read. Here is a quote from the blog.
"The fact she is a lioness...I do not." I said I liked the girl who voiced Nala. Make the distinction morons. If we are going to assume things I will say that Bryant, Andy and Tony like girls who like beasts. So in turn Andy's new girl and T-Bola like stinky beasts. Or perhaps its the other way around. Gwahaha.

Yes Bryant is in the lead for gaypoints. HOWEVER Derek has been making some frequent appearances around the house. Needless to say I fulfilled my quota of gay points per day in about 10 minutes with Hapachan in the car blabbing on and on about stuff.

Matrix is retarded. Everyone get off the fucking bandwagon already. The only thing saving the movie is the car chase scene and Monica. I love Monica.

BTW can anyone please explain the Phoenix story line for me? I didn't read that many comic books so I don't get whats going on. I'm looking to Derek for this one.

I gotta go. I'm tired. And the lioness is roarrrrrrring for me. Peace out wiggidy whackers.
Jeez louise, there have been a lot of blogs since the last time I wrote. I think Brendan needs a restraining system so that he doesn't blog 5 times in one week. Too much info, too much stupidity, too much gayness. J/k...I love everyone's entries, they are very unique.

Well, here are my thoughts on various topics written:

Dawson's Creek - Though I only watched part on it, mostly bits and pieces, I thought it was a good episode. They tied everything together and got rid of most loose ends. I hadn't watched it in a while, so I didn't follow a couple parts, but in the end it was good. Katie Holmes is still very pretty, though her choice of movie roles have been questionable at best. I guess my new fix will have to be Smallville and Kristen Kreuk, season finale in tommorrow...wheeeeee!

Gay Points and Scorecard - The only reason I don't want to see it is because I know I am in the lead. Brendan hands out points to me like it's nothing and the funny thing I have a damn gf! Or is that a cover...hmmm.... 5 points for a formal, just getting asked? That's a little extreme, I would think 2 -3 would be more fair. haha. By the way I didn't wear a flower. I think it's a funny idea and I wouldn't mind seeing that on your Web site. Speaking of Web sites...c'mon Jonathan, stop laggin!

Matrix - I thought the movie was ok. Actually, pretty good, mostly for the action sequences of course. The trailer made it seem more exciting then the movie itself. Like any middle movie w/o a begninning or an end, it just made me want some closure, but now I have to wait a few months before I get to see the ending. My only big qualm w/ the movie was the Zion scene aka rave that went on a little too long. Keanu is still not a great actor, but these movies don't force him to be, which is good. Monica Belluci is really hot. I like her. She was good in Tears of the Sun and she was hot in Matrix. Good stuff!

X-men 2 - I liked a lot. I thought it was way better than the first one, which I also enjoyed. I liked all the characters. I thought Night Crawler and Iceman were cool and I liked the preview of Colossus. Where the hell is Gambit? Hopefully the 3rd one he can at least make an appearance. I also liked the movie because they didn't feature Cyclops too much. I don't like him because of the actor they chose and also he doesn't have any tough, KT for the day powers. I wish I still read comic books so that I can relive some of these old stories and learn more about the characters. Every time I watch comic book movies, I always want to know more and how things turn out, maybe I'll become a nerd and read some comic books again.

Cartoon Women - I love Belle, she's a cool character. She definitely does not base her judgements on looks, though she did love a Beast, it's all good because she's got a good heart and I thought she beautifully drawn. She's got a cool singin' voice too, though whoever does hers voices others as well. Yes she is french, but Kristin Kreuk is Canadien and I'm able to live with that. Remember I'm nothing more than a 'dirty korean' so my standards. I'm dating a Japanese girl, that's pretty low. J/k...didn't mean to offend any Japanese people. haha Other cartoon women that I always thought were cool are: Dana Tan (Batman Beyond), Wonder Woman (Justice League), Jill Valentine (Resident Evil 3).

Brendan - Brin Din should make the poker movie, stop talking about f'in lions, someone please call him so he can stop his crying that he has no friends, keep painting and doing landscapes. Your blogs are super negative, but you are a pretty negative person in general. You have a realist tone when talking about serious subjects, but it's always negative hehe. We like that perspective here in Pooky. At least you blog, the originals (Derek, Brian, Steve and Jonathan) barely ever blog. I know I'm not great at it either, but I like to blog at least once a week. We gotta keep this thing a float and to keep up w/ the newbies.

Derek's song is classic by the way hehe.

I would also make a video for my kids if I were on my death bed and my children were still pretty young. I would advise them on videogames, sports (teams to like dislike), give them my advice on girls and how crazy they are and how illogical they may be, watch out for asian women drivers, get most friendliest like your old man, don't live in Truckee or Bishop, hang out w/ Uncle Brendan as much as possible to bug the livin' shit out of him, make sure he goes to Obon and continue my legacy there hehe, I would just them to overall be happy in life, don't think too much and just do your best in whatever you do.

Alright, well that's all folks, meditate in that for til my next blog. Same Bryant time, same Bryant place. BTW, in case I forget I am coming home this weekend for Tony's graduation and I will be home the weekend after that as well to move more of my stuff in.

Cya laterz and take care.

May 17, 2003

So today Hapachan admitted that he spelled my name wrong. I win.

Saw X-2 finally. After discussing the film I've come to one conclusion. I really do like Famke Janssen more than I thought.

I heard through the grapevine that some people were wondering how could I write such sick things about Disney characters and what I would do to them. Why the hell am I thinking about fucking a lion and so forth. Well people. Check your hesitations at the fucking door. This is I Love Stupid. For those that have been close friends...but never really heard me speak like that before...you've only scratched the surface. How bout this? Last night I had a dream where I killed a squirrel with a butter knife. I then got the confidence to kill my next customer at Noah's with a bagel knife and a toaster. You figure that one out. It was graphic and disturbing. I woke up sweating. And I liked it.

May 16, 2003

I will give props for Hapachan's story. I would also like to note that no one gets to see Derek ever except for the little blurbs he makes out on this blog so I'll let this one slip just this once. HOWEVER I think you still spelled my name wrong. It doesn't matter where the key is...I'm sure typing is auto for you so whatever you think comes out. Hapachan gets three gay points for blowing off Bryant when he visited here to spend it with some other boyfriend. Isn't that always the case? I'm sure Bryant can tell us about those occasions.

So Tony is finally graduating along with some other shmucks. I'd just like to say that I hope you get forced into jobs you hate just because you wanted to hurry and get in the real world. Haha. Me? I'm gonna do a live action tentacle porn movie. Not like I'M going to star in it...but my shlong would make a nice tentacle.

Hapachan I can only imagine it is the money you owe me. Wait until you hear about the story I got for you. Call me up. We'll do dinner.

ATTENTION: BLUCKY JUST GOT AWARED 3 GAY POINTS FOR ASKING DEREK TO DINNER.

May 15, 2003

The Captain recently IMed me and asked if he got any gay points for his gay comment about J.Reid. As I explained to him you CANNOT get gay points by trying to be gay. Then you are gay and you will ultimately be declared the winner. Or wiener. Whichever your gay ass wants inserted. So you only get gay points by doing something that you thought was okay, but in the end it was just really gay. I get to award gay points because I made up the gay point system. Since I made it up I get one gay point for trying to keep up with how gay all of you really are. So what is the point of this? Well since Jon doesn't like calling me anymore to hang out I thought I would do him one last favor: Showing him whom he can shower his gay love with...without actually telling him. By winning the competition Eecs will know who he can pursue. That's basically it. Bryant you are still in the lead. Yet because Kevin was baking he got 3 gay points. Add an extra point if they smelled good. Kev you can thank Captain, he Spacy-ed you out. If this isn't true you can appeal the decision by saying why it isn't true or gay. Gwahaha.

The Captain has blah blah blahed his way into talking about the Matrix and how it is going to be good. He has pretty much put his stamp of approval on it. Well three things go against this case. He made me go see The Beach...yeah okay. It was free and I didn't have to pay anything. But it was still Leo running around without a shirt. Andy you just got your first gay point. Congrats buddy. Haha. Second of all he also said Zelda was awesome and protected it against my criticisms of it. How is that game coming along Captain? Oh right...YOU DON'T LIKE IT ANYMORE. Thirdly...I saw Andy at Century theatres. I was coming out of Starship troopers and Andy was coming out of Spice World. 'Nuff said. I think he was with CoolB and Crayonnoonelikestouse...I'm not sure though. Here is the plot of the Matrix. Boring, snoring, shallow story followed by ACTION, ACTION, ACTION, BADLY FILMED SEX SCENE, ACTION, ACTION, STUPID ENDING. There you have it. All I'm going to say is that Monica Bellucci better have a big part in it...shit...if I were the "one" I would kill Trinity with that stupid camera rotating shit and "Whoa" my way toward Monica.

Does no one understand? Belle is fucking french. I guess I'm the only one with a smelling apparatus.

Keira Knightly is very young. It sucks. I feel guilty watching her. Yo ho yo ho a cradlerobber's life for me. "You wanna know pain? Trying wearing a corset."? I'm not liking how this swash buckling tale is starting off...

So okay now to throw in some real substance. We are all funny. We are actually funnier to other people since we are more shocking than most people. So basically we aren't that funny. It is just that we like to think so because everyone else outside of our group of friends are retarded. If you make a retard laugh are you really funny? Probably not. ...okay that's mean. I feel bad for typing that...but notice I'm not backspacing or anything. Shit actually let me rephrase that. Retarded people are probably more smart and more intellectual than 80 percent of the population on this crap hole we call Earth. They don't hate on "normal" people just because we are normal. But the human "race" decides to hate people because they are straight, Hapachaned, different ethnicity blah blah blah. So three cheers for people with mental disabilities. Kids and them are the only honest ones among us...fuck the humans. Fuck them for making me type this kind of shit out.

ATTENTION: BRYANT YOU HAVE BEEN AWARDED WITH 5 GAY POINTS FOR THINKING ABOUT GOING TO A STUPID FORMAL FILLED WITH STUPID FUCKING MATERIALISTIC SOROSLUTSIES. 2 MORE IF YOU DECIDE YOU ARE GOING. 5 BONUS POINTS IF YOU WEAR A FLOWER ANYWHERE ON YOUR SUIT.

On a last note it seems my blogs are negative. Recently after speaking with Steve I realized I have seem to lost some of that for whatever reason. I still may say mean things and what not, but it seems I've toned it down. I'm making up for lost time. Since you know...Eecs won't return my calls to his pager once again....therefore leaving me with no friends up here. Teabag is gonna be leaving soon, we all know Derek doesn't like hanging out with us. I think I'm going to turn into a troubled kid just to make him try and convert me...anything for attention. I'm trying to reach out but no one cares...no one...

I think sarcasm should have it's own universal font by the way.
Peace out bitches. Let the riots begin.

May 14, 2003

QuadBlog right here.

INT. ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER. DAY.

The room is filled with stupid little kids. Except these kids aren't stupid. They are here for the National Spelling Competition. A little fat boy comes up to the podium. His name is Derek. He seems nervous. Perhaps he ate too much Korean BBQ.

Spelling Coordinator: Okay Derek. Your word is BRENDAN.
Derek: Can you say the word in a sentence?
Spelling Coordinator: The girls thought BRENDAN was a pimp ass.
Derek: Origin of the word?
Spelling Coordinator: Quit stalling kid. Juss spell the shit.
Derek: B - R - E...- N - D....ugh...- O - N ?
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Spelling Coordinator: No you fucking idiot. It's brendAn.

C'mon Derek. I can accept Bren-Downe or B or Hellmonger...but Brendon? You just earned yourself 2 gay points buddy.
Disney characters..I love this topic. Since I consider myself somewhat of a Disney fan I'm gonna jump on this. Here here for three blogs in a matter of an hour.

Belle: She's fucking french. That means she is stinky. She also fell in love with The Beast. I mean shit...that is a beastiality. She might as well suck off Felipe's (the horse) dick off if she's into that shit. French are stinky. Tony you are right. You can't find girls to suck off a bear...what is this world coming to?

Sleeping Beauty: She sleeps. I can hit that while she is asleep. No complaints. I do my thing and I get outta there. But then again...she is not awake to clean shit...or cook..which is what girls are supposed to do. Haha.

Cinderella: She believes in the Fairy God Mother. She rides in a pumpkin. She can only pleasure you until 12:00. Then she has to bolt outta there like a bat out of hell. Fuck that. I need a girl that likes pillow talk...pillow talk about what soap to use to clean my dishes.

Jasmine: Pooonjabi. 'Nuff said. Her nose is shaped funny. Plus it took her nearly 58 minutes into the movie to figure out it was Aladdin. Dumb as can be.

Pocahontas: OKay that long flowing hair gets me. But she talks to a tree. A TREE?!? Plus the real Pocahontas was supposedly bald. So the animator Glen Keane decided to make her a lot prettier than she really was. I can't get that thought out of my head when I watch her go down the river to wash my clothes.

Snow White: Tony nailed it right on the money. Although Seven Dwarves...while she is cleaning...nah that porn would never work...or would it? Plus she is pale as fucking...well...snow. Its like Disney ran out of skin tone paint so they kept her white. Eww.

Mulan: My family will tell you that I liked her because she had MingNa's mannerisms down. Whoever animated her got it right on the money...I mean I dont' know her personally but some things I have seen in the Mulan character I see her do in movies and ER. Yet Mulan herself...she tries to act like a boy...to the point of cross dressing...weird.

Jane: Tony once again got it right. I don't like Minnie Driver..and that's all I see when I see her. Besides she wasn't perportioned right.

Ariel: Glen Keane modeled her after Alyssa Milano. He knew where to find inspiration. But are redheads really that cute in real life? Aww fuck it. Gimme that trident. I'll give her some legs and somewhere to stick it. (Jesus this is getting disturbing.)

Meg: Had a certain flair. Personality wise I like her. But once again. The redhead sorta thing bugs me and the fact that her waist was drawn in about an inch in diameter bugs the shit outta me.

Nala: Okay I like Moira Kelly. Blah Blah Blah cutting edge blah blah blha...I think she looked great in With Honors...however...that movie was good anyway which is why I bought it! Moira Kelly was just a nice throw in. She seems fiesty but innocent. I love it. The fact she is a lioness...I do not.

So the winner is...Esmerelda. Not necessarly on looks but boy can she dance on a pole. Her gypsy ways are making me like her. If I had to go on looks wise...and not taking perportions into consideration? Jessica Rabbit all the way...haha. This topic is...well...its crazy..but fun!
I'm double blogging just to show those that I can do it. They cannot.

J.Ried, J.Reed, J.Rid, Jwhatever said that the left eye on my KayKay portrait was bugging him. Well my left butt cheek is asleep and tingling. It's slowly moving up toward my asshole and it's feeling pretty weird. I'm trying to force myself to shit right now...so that way my family will hear little giggles caused by the tingles in my ass cheek in the bathroom followed by a *plop, plop*. Haha. I think that would be funny. So yeah...whatever the fuck that means. I think what I'm trying to say is that I'll look into it...although they might think that I'm reading a Calvin and Hobbes book in the can. Oh well. The moral of the story is NEVER LOOK AT MY CALVIN AND HOBBES BOOKS cuz we can only afford single ply toilet paper that feels like 20 grit sandpaper. That means there is rippage. And papercuts. Hehe..."I like this one where Calvin is playing with dirt"..."that ain't dirt."

LilSnowUnFunny decided to change the layout of her website. I think I caused the change. And who is the design major here? Haha. Maybe my ass isn't asleep after all. Maybe it is just trying to contain all the POWER I have...ugh...whatever that means. Hehe.
So let me get this straight. Pacey (A Canadian mind you) ends up with Joey (whose eyes seem to drip right off her face) and then the fucked up girl Jen gets killed off and never to return in the Dawson reunion? Shit and then Dawson gets a fucking interview with Spielberg? Meanwhile the gay guy finds his lifemate and becomes a parent? Here is how it should have ended. Dawson and Pacey end up fighting for Joey. Pacey of course wins (even though he is Canadian, he has an upper hand since he was in Mighty Ducks) and Dawson was in shitty Varsity Blues where he got his ass kicked repeatedly. Then Dawson gets an idea in his Luke Perry sort of forehead and decides if he can't have droopy eyes then no one can. He then lures Joey to the dock and begins to bitch and whine just like he did in the pilot episode up until tonight. Then he whacks her over the head and begins to go nutty. He foreheadbutts her and she then drowns. Jen of course is still dead for shits and or giggles. They then do a WB spinoff of Joey's Creek where Pacey uses what he learned in the Skulls movie and begins to hunt down Dawson all across the map. It's a suspense thriller sort of thing. Aww fuck it. The final episode was decent...even though they totally ripped of Michael Keaton in My Life. I still appreciated it. And for the record, Pacey was always better than Dawson. Good pick Joe. BTW I do like the fact that they totally made fun of their show while putting the show inside the show. Unfortunately all the shit they made fun of is true. And that is why I lost interest in the show after the 2nd episode.

Matrix blah blah blah. Am I going to go see it. Of course. But this shit better be good. I'm actually more excited about seeing Finding Nemo myself. Pixar has been money since they came out. I doubt Nemo will be any different. Pirates is coming out soon. I'm really really excited about that one. It has a good chance of sucking donkey nuts, but then again so does Matrix. Speaking of movies I've been listening to the Ocean's 11 soundtrack a lot lately. I think I'm becoming a bigger fan of Ambient music than I ever hoped to achieve.

The untitled poker movie. Seeing how I have nothing to do maybe I'll just adapt some of the screenwriting I did in class (basically all the parts that got laughs) and incorporate it into the poker movie. We'll see.

Speaking of which. I've decided to try to do something new with the blog. Seeing how I have been handing out gay points lately I see it fitting that we should be keeping track of such things on our blog for fun. As soon as Eecs stops ignoring my calls to his pager then I'll tell him about it. Basically what will happen is Jon will hyperlink to my site. I will then upload a scorecard that will appear on Pooky. Then I will also state why someone got those points for whatever reason. Whoever wins (Bryant) will then be able to get his ass kicked not only by T-Bola everyday but by everyone on this blog. Haha. I was going to do the Tbola point system but I don't wanna make her cry....I'd rather do that in person.

For anyone playing Splinter Cell...remember you don't want to kill everyone you see. That's why I couldn't beat a level for over about 3 months now. Fuck'n game. I still think Captain is dividing his time between Socom and his girly friend. I don't know the whole story so I'm no expert, but I think you can check her out on www.Garagebandscansuckmyleftnut.com. Haha...jesus...Sushiboy is going to be put on probation for that one. Haha! Wheee...

** If I die I'm going to create a video for my kid too..."Dear whoever the fuck you are. Man. Knowing my family they will tell you mean things about me. I just want you to know that you have to hate Koreans all the way to the tips of your fingertips. Don't worry...Uncle KimChee and Auntie T-Bola don't bite. Well sometimes they do. They'll eat just about anything. Also...remember to make lots of mistakes...by mistakes I mean kids. With more kids the better chance you will be taken care of in the future. Why the fuck do you think I had you? That's right. This tape has been copied over and over and over...I love you...well...then again I don't really know you...cause I'M DEAD REMEMBER?!? Ahh...get the fuck over it" **

May 11, 2003

Well, it was nice seeing everyone this weekend. Hope you had fun in Berkeley Jonathan and sorry Derek for the mix up at Holders, hopefully I'll get to see both you guys soon.

I've been meaning to write in this blog for a while, just haven't gotten around to it this week...

T-bag, nice name, I like it even though in hind sight, it may be used in other fashions, here @ Pooky we love stupid.

Brendan - Ipod, damn...save up, you'll get it someday...maybe...

Jonathan - Buy the headphones. It sounds like you've already talked yourself into them, you just need reassurance and I say go for it, You're worth it!

I've been given the recent responsibility to find pictures of all our new Pookiers so that Brendan may get some ideas on an icon to draw for them. I will get on that as soon as I get back in SLO, I'll try to find the best pictures to represent each person in a nice fashion hehe.

After reading Andy's first blog and describing what he has done in life to become worthy of "stupid," I for shits and giggles will list some of the stupid things that I have done in my brief existence:

1. Said Yes to my arch-nemesis to a dance that I definitely did not want to go to. This led to incessant singing in the ol' truck and dance pictures in my possession and the possession of others (yearbook, damn it) to capture the GREAT memory of that night.
2. Drinking heavily @ a friend's b-day party and then running across the street while going against traffic. Luckily El Capitan came out and saved my life and pulled me into safety. Other highlights of the night were passing out in a bush and puking on someone's truck.
3. With alcohol once again being involved, I did a cartwheel in the streets, losing my glasses w/o my knowledge.
4. Cutting my finger at Noah's so badly that I needed to go to the hospital to get stitches. The reason why I find this to be stupid is because I did it, just so that a customer could be happy and have her bagel 30 secs faster. F Customer Service!
5. Due to heightened tension and rage while playing beloved Socom, I continued to throw my headset, this time hitting my office chair and shattering the poor thing to millions of pieces. Ooops! Headsets are very expensive, beware!

This weekend Brendan also continued to hand out "gay points." I seem to be the leader w/ like 5, while Kevin and Brendan are tied at 2 a piece. We'll see who wins this bad boy; please be me! My girlfriend will love it.

Tony came up w/ a comment that I found to interesting and true: "All our friends are funny!"
That's not a lie, that's not hyping ourselves up, I truly believe that if the general public heard how we talked to each other, the things we said out loud, and our actions, they would find us hilarious. Brendan said it true, that people are shocked, yet entertained at how much we rip into each other (on a deep level) and none of us really take each other too seriously. Most of the time we will rip the person back and so on and so on. I believe each one of us has a unique humor between us:

Brendan - blunt, realist w/ a hint of pessism, which makes us all laugh because we can't believe what we're hearing.
Jonathan - logical, sarcastic, humor. He's got the sound effects to that go along w/ the humor. He's witty w/ his comebacks and doesn't let anything phase him.
Steve - realist just like Brendan, but he can find more little things to talk about and laugh about...Ears being ripped off, Food, Way people speak, etc.
Brian - has a little sarcasm, a little noise makin' himself w/ the "YA!" and "Herro!" Double peace sign, fo sho!
Derek - Random random random. He will say things that people will say "What the fuck?!" People can't figure out if they're laughing because what Derek said makes sense and it's funny or they're laughing at Derek for making no sense at all.
Tony - Hardcore feminist. When I say hardcore, I mean not at all a feminist. Anti-feminism. He has a touch of Brendan in him where he tells it as it is, but doesn't do it too the extreme of Brendan. Tony is also funny because he's not afraid to say anything to anyone. He will say things to waitresses, cops, regular people on the street and especially...GIRLS haha.
Andy - Original thought. He is always looking for a different way to make people laugh. He is always trying to find different jokes. Good impressions of people as well. He also has Derek's randomness, but every Andy joke has some sort of point or purpose...well most of the time. Drunken Andy is all of what I have described, times 10.
Kevin - His Truckee thinking and semi-ignorance on things make me laugh at least. He makes light-hearted jokes from time to time. His shit talking can also be construed as funny from time to time. His laugh is contagious and he some how just makes people laugh along with him. He has bits of Tony and Brendan in him where he can be outspoken, especially when drunk. Watch out.
Me - I would say I have a combo of super sarcasm, stories, and lame jokes that give this Korean some laughs. I think I have a certain presence to make certain stories more interesting. I love to make people laugh and do whatever I can to get a laugh out of people. I am outspoken at times and say things I shouldn't, but hey, I follow the crowd.

Well, I think I have written enough. If people want to expand or dispute how I found everyone's humor, go for it. I would love to see how we all think about each other and even if we make each other laugh. I find you all funny in unique ways and I hope the laughter continues always.

Peace out, take care...for those who are graduating, live it up, times almost up.

May 8, 2003

Since Pooky stepped out to go see his real, yet fake friends from Berkeley I have decided to take over as administrator. As admin anything I say goes with no chance to dispute it. First of all...

T.Chang is not fucking good enough. Get that shit outta here. You need something dope ass. Like BLuckyDay. "Well what about that guy Steve, he doesn't have a nickname." I think we went over this. Steve is special. Since he helped start ILS he gets off. Hehe. So T.Chang you NEED to change your nickname. Think man. You took classes in advertising. Advertise how creative you can be. And stop saying that you respect women. This blog isn't your little personal advertisment to show how sensitive you are too all our female readers. In fact...you females should not be reading this...start cooking me din din or some shit. Oh yeah and press the enter key every once in a while. Paragraphs are good too! Haha!

Captain decided to go drink on a fucking Wednesday night instead of playing Socom with Soosh. 'Nuff said.

Who the fuck is Vern? If that is one of the Pooky players pretending to be some lame reader and we find out about it...

As for the race issue. Race was made up by humans. Race is a fucking myth. Race was created so we can create superiority amongst the other homosapiens. I mean think about it. I mean a dog is a fucking dog. In a little girl voice, "oooooh how cute...what kind of dog is that?" BLucky replies, "Its a fucking dog bitch. With four fucking legs and a saliva drooling mouth. The wanting for humans to put shit in order fucked us in the long run. Now we have race. Now we have racism. So BLuckyDay is trying to take it back to everyone equal. EXCEPT that not everyone is equal. Some humans like to eat dog. Bad example since they are not human...but you get the idea. Some humans like to live with big bears in the forest and speak dirty french. Bottom line: I hate everyone equally. As long as you hate equal you are not a racist. You are a humanist. Second Bottom line: Humans that eat dog can tea bag my left nut and lick off the shit flakes off my asshole.

Eecs buy the fucking headphones. Why you fucking acting like you have no fucking money. I mean are you thinking that since you are making more money than us that you have to act like you are poor so you can fit in? I mean 269 dollars. If that ain't shit for me then surely you can get them without any fucking question. I can't believe you had to think about that kind of purchase. If you pick up an ipod...pick me one up too please! Hehe.

Oh speaking of which. I was telling Steve that I found a group of four stupid chinks trying to make a movie about the 442nd. For those that don't know what the 442nd are here it is in a nutshell.

WWII. American Japanese get put in camps. They lost practically everything. The same American Japanese that got their freedom robbed decide to fight in the war for the country that betrayed them. The 442nd were strictly for American Japanese/Hawaiian Japanese. They were used to as a spearhead into some of the most dangerous campaigns so other "white" soldiers would be safer in the rear. Lost the most men in any battalion in the war. The MOST decorated batallion in any war that America has fought. A story that needs to be told that none of you white folk have ever heard of.

And now chinks are trying to take that story. I had family that were in those camps. I had family that fought in that war. This has given me new found drive to do this story justice. How about you Chinese make a story about how you gave cowboys and indians opium instead of trying to ride on another "race's" coattails. Now I'm just pissed...bottom line: stick to Chinatown and your fucking root tea assholes.

What a negative blog. And I love it. Welcome to Pooky. 'Cept Vern. He can go chew on a dick. Who ever he fucking is.

Ho

Shiet
This is too much to read.
Pooky, get rid of these newcomers, they're just up to no good.

In all seriosity though... it's been a fun ride with all the blog posting madness lately. Top notch material from all colors and creeds. I hope we can find a happy equilibrium between the hectic no-time-for-stupid-online-journal lifestyle of Snacks (despite his brief and triumphant return) and the 5-posts-a-day trend the rest of us suddenly seem capable of (perhaps indicative of the free time we so often have but claim to lack). Anyways*, new guys: make your icons if you wanna be like the cool kids: 150x150 pixels capturing who you are as far as Team Pooky is concerned. AND MAKE IT FUNNY OR YOU'RE OUT. =|

* Anyways is a variation of "anyway", meaning "in any case", much like the slang dismissal "laters", or the always-stupid-sounding "late". The English language didn't make a lot of sense to begin with ANYWAYS. Those of us with red marking utensils securely and permanently locked into place by alcohol-induced-fukdup-thumbs are cursed to forever be aware and aggravated by this fact. To the rest of you fully-fallible normal people, I don't suggest following me down this path. Because I'll be farting from time to time.

That
looks like a decent computer setup Brendan, so go for it if you really feel you can and should afford it. All of a sudden I'll feel like playing Hot Shots Golf all night. You'll fall asleep. BOOM I've got myself a 23" widescreen and you've got a monitor that oddly resembles the door from a microwave. Everybody wins. Just especially Bangs.

While we're bringing up tempting and expensive but not entirely ridiculous purchases... today I was checking out headphones and came across such an offering. First let me say that this is dangerous ground for one such as me. I love music and listen to it almost constantly. So naturally I want high quality sound. Every time I look at headphones I'm tempted to buy a new set. So although I'm very tempted by what I found, I know I'm not necessarily thinking straight. So there's this company called Etymotic Research. This company makes high quality earphones, and apparently used their research on ears and sound to produce some of the best audiophile headphones in the world, one of which being the ER-4P. They are designed to go in the ear canal, which blocks out ambient sound and leaves you alone with just about the most pure audio listening experience possible. In fact, I'm a little concerned just how much sound they keep out, since that could prove hazardous in public situations (i.e. not hearing a car coming whilst on an mp3-enhanced stroll). Sure, they're expensive at $330 retail ($269 at headphone.com)... but reviews say they can only be compared to electrostatic sets that cost $1000 and up. Reading all this stuff, the end result is: I have to at least try them out. Anyways, I figure I'll want some good portables if I get an mp3 player... and it seems you cannot do better than these. And then there's every day at work... hell, anything to block out the other cubicles and their incessant tippy-tippy-tappy-click-clack typing. I'M TRYING TO SLEEP, YOU DAMN CHIMPS!

May 5, 2003

Damn... Everyone and their mom decided to update their blog today... First off, wecome to the fun Kevin, Andy, 'n Tony... I think I met you guys once at Obon... Good times, that celebration. Looking forward to being there again in a few months! (Probably the only time I get to see those other bastards too. No visit bitches!)

Anyway... I just noticed as I was surfing through the logs the banner we have up top. I'm probably the only ignorant one here, but the banner is specialized to the web page... We have a Harrison Ford ad, my site has a DDR ad, and Steve... Uh... He has a Coconut Monkey Purse ad. I think that just made my day. (End note: hehe, it changes once in a while... but those are the sites I see the most...)

All is well up here in Sonoma... Relationship wise, I guess it's going alright. We're still passing along e-mails. Probably moving slower than a snail, but I'm ok with that. I over-react to a lot of things, so it's easier for me to take things slower and live a little at a time. Honestly, I can say I feel fairly good about where I am right now.

Let's see... Race issues... Normally I'm just too stupid to notice if I'm the only asian around. Up here in Sonoma, it's a little different when the majority is still caucasian. (Caucasian. A cookie to whoever knows where that word came from.) Yeah, it's a little awkward, but most of the time I'm over it. hehe the few times Lori hung out with you guys she commented on the race thing. Guess she noticed it a little more. Oddly enough, I can say I'm not racist, but I found I actually tend to gravitate to other asians when I'm in a class. I've caught myself doing that a few times. Do we go to what is somewhat familiar to us? Where do I actually fit in?

Bleh, anyway... Funny story at work... Our vending machines suck donkey balls... There is a 50% chance that you will get nothing from the crisp dollar you eagerly cram into the machine... Saturday night I had this wannabe gangser looking fool complete with his little bandana come up to me...

Gangsta: "Yo man... Your vending machine jacked me."
Me: "Alright, let's go to this one... You wanted Dr. Pepper, right? *clang* there you go..."
Gangsta: "Thanks man... The vending machine is lucky it's kept behind the bars, or I would have tore it up."
Me: "Uhh, yeah... Well, I'm glad you didn't..."
Gangsta: "*Laughs* Yeah, that's how @*^$@ get shot."

He proceeds to do his little head thrust to the machine, and walks away. When his back is turned, I comfort the machine. :)

I can't believe someone actually used that line... "That's how *#(^$#@ get shot."

Pooky's History

Seeing how we do not have a handbook on where the roots of Pooky started, I will give you a little feedback on where our name comes from and what the little quote means on the bottom of the name. As well as some guidelines to make your transition to stupid more effecient.

1. Pooky is our leader. Pooky is in charge of everything on this site. He has no face. Although that icon would prove otherwise. Anything having to do with the site is in his hands. Now you may be asking who this "Pooky" is and where did he come from. EecsBangs and I were playing Pokeroom.com at one point and we met up with a fellow by the name of Pookypl as his username. This fucker would play stupid shit and win. Needless to say it pissed the fuck out of me and Jon seeing how we would play smart and lose to Pooky when he had no right being in the fucking hand to begin with. So we coined the term "Pookied" when we got fucked over at cards by someone who plays stupid shit. Hence the name Pooky. Since we love stupid shit we thought Pooky would be a good name for our blog. Enough of your history lesson. Bottom line: Pooky sometimes acts like an asshole but he makes everything happen.

2. It's okay to blog about serious shit. If you blog about serious shit all the time you will be ridiculed and killed. Pooky will make it happen. Remember this is
"I Love Stupid" not "I Love a Good Long Serious Story All the Time". Haha. We haven't had a problem with this so far so let's keep it that way boys!

3. For you newcomers you must spread the word around about your new home. ILS is made for us to piss people off. Spread that shit around. Haha.

4. You need a nickname. Steve doesn't since all of us have problems giving him a nickname. Since we waited so long to give him one it seems that anything we say won't stand up to the hype. You newbies can call yourself whatever you want. Juss make it creative.

5. The quote. Harrison Ford on...I forget...Conan? We thought it was a funny quote. And he said it was stupid. Good enough for us.

This is sounding like a frat. IT IS NOT A FUCKING FRAT. I just decided to give you some feedback so T-Bag doesn't ask me who the fuck Pooky is. Hehe. Enjoy you bastards. Again I leave you with the same quote since I double blogged in less than 2 hours or so.

"When I die I want all of my blogs printed out and put into a book to be handed out to everyone who goes to my funeral...that way they won't be as sad." BLuckyDay.
Well, it certainly been a while since I've written in here, not as bad as Derek per say, but it's been long enough. New editions to Pooky, how exciting! Let me say that I'm glad that more people will be joining us here, hopefully there will be more writing, opinions, humor, and insight on life. I'll put in a few more cents on who each person is:

Andy is my best friend and we've gone to the same school ever since Kindergarten and we go to Cal Poly together. He's probably in the top 3 funniest people that I know in the world. He is witty, sarcastic, slick w/ the comments and a quick thinker. He and I have been through almost everything together and I love telling the crazy stories and all the trouble we used to cause. Avid videogame player, sports fanatic, and all around one of the good guys in this world. Glad to see Pooky and his power trip let him on.

I met Kevin in the dorms, but really didn't get to know him until my second year. I had found a friend here at Poly that didn't need to drink every weekend to have fun. He was the guy I can chill with, kick back and watch movies. He was my impulse shopping friend since Brendan wasn't here. We eventually became roommates in our 3rd year and I couldn't imagine living with anyone else. He was the perfect roommate. Kevin has now become one of my best friends and he's given me another reason that I'm glad I went to Poly. Kevin is the perfectionist, hates losing, scares easily, but has a great time with life. Most of the time. He's also another funny face that can shed some light here in Pooky on random things. He'll be the person in the group minus Brendan, to say what's on his mind, no matter what. His shit talking is endless, but like Brendan he's a softy and truly a good character. He's taught me a lot in cooking, fixing things, bball, etc. I hope he makes his way back to SJ so that we may become roommates again and have some more fun!

Tony tried to throw me in a fuckin garbage can in our first meeting in 6th grade. Koreans are not supposed to do that to each other, but oh well, lucky for him I forgave him and we've become good friends w/ an intereting twist on how we met. This is a guy you always want on your side. He'll stick up for you, he'll defend you and he's one of the most loyal friends that I have. He's a tremendous athlete who has risen above the rest and worked his ass off to become the best player that he can be. His efforts are always 110% and his hard work will pay off for him. He's a kick back guy, who is almost always in a good mood. He always has a smile on his face and rarely gets mad. He makes some bold comments too, like Kevin and Brendan, but like the others, laughs it off with everyone else.

All in all these 3 should be a great addition to our blog, I hope they blog a lot and we get feedback on everything. I know some of our lives will become more hectic with our college careers coming to a close, but it will always be good to hear from you all. I hope to see you all in SJ, even though some may think it's not a fun place to be. I beg to differ, I think San Jose is good enough, there's no other town I would rather live in. I say this because of the company that I keep there and that's all that I need. All the people I care about are from the area and hopefully will eventually be back there when all is said and done. Other pluses is that it has awesome sports team, SF is just 20 min away, traffic isn't that bad, there are convenient places to shop (Valley Fair is a great mall, parking sucks though), Videogame stores galore for missions, Popeye's, Su's, Gordon Bierch, Holders, must I say more? If that's not good enough for ya, then I'm sorry, that's all I have to offer for the town.

School is going alright. Kick back, but my classes are actually interesting. I actually like going to the lectures because I feel like I am retaining stuff. My Developmental Psych. class is giving me some good insights on children and how to raise them, what's normal, what's not, etc. My Kine class is making me more aware of my surroundings and the struggles b/w cultures. It also gives good tips on how to lead a healthy life. Funny, my most boring class is the one that I have to take which is my Software Mgmt. class. I really should be interested in it, since it discusses my future job (Proj Mgmt), but damn, the subject is damn boring and I hope my job isn't the same way or I would go nuts. Month and a half left, time flies when you're having fun.

I've noticed I am a very emotional drunk. Not the wah wah, boo hoo, emotional. More like the "I love you guys!" type and I like to give hugs. I getting drunk and talking w/ most of you is my way of saying I appreciate having you in my life, but I would feel stupid saying it sober because I would immediately be termed as "gay." I know Brendan is already saying that right now, that bastard hehe. But I mean everything I say and I do appreciate all my friends and I guess that's my way of expressing it. At least I don't cry and I've cut down on the hitting (Kevin). haha. If you don't like my drunken ways, give me a few more drinks and I'll just pass out.

Brian - I hope things are well with the ladies or lady. We'll need a status check, just to make sure you're not psycho or anything.
Pooky - Stop whining. I am Pooky, don't use my name...boo hoo. I thought Pooky was a team, I guess not. Thanks for adding the boyz above! =) "I thought about taking it down, but that would just be childish HAHAHAHA" I wonder if that's aimed at me. I don't want to assume or put words in the mouth, but my opinion is it's not childish if assholes are writing stupid ass shit in the box, especially when they're making fun of friends that don't get our humor. =) Brendan and I already had this chat haha.
Brendan and Jonathan - Check out their painting. It's sick and I like the HW idea you guys have for each other. I hope to see more of it and Brendan I hope you have a script ready for the summer, I am ready to act! haha jk
Steve - hope all is well in SD, I would still like to make a trip there, just tell me if there's a good weekend and I'm there.
Derek - YOU ARE GAY! haha jk...Hope things are well at SC, don't work too hard, enjoy college a bit. I know it's hard with essays, papers, projects, midterms, finals, etc, but relax a little.

Mario Kart does look sick. There were about 10 games in Andy's new EGM that intrigued me and I can't for them to come out. Castevania(PS2), Socom 2(PS2), Halo 2 (Xbox), Syphon Filter (PS2), X-men Legends (PS2), Madden 2004 (PS2), Baldur's Gate II (PS2), Final Fantasy (Gamecube), and also Full Throttle 2(PS2). Take a look at some on the games on Videogames.com or something, but all of them should be good. Also the new Lord of the Rings game w/ Multi-player, something they definitely needed in the first one.

X-men 2 was a great movie. I thought it was way better than the first, which I liked too. I think the Phoenix Saga is coming in the 3rd movie and hopefully Gambit will be included. Better Luck Tommorrow is not that great of a movie. DO NOT GO SEE IT, wait for it on video or something. It is not one of those movies you have to see in the theatres. The all Asian cast was interesting and certain scenes were cool, but overall I was criticizing the movie on the inside the whole time. Matrix looks cool, Hulk looks better with these new trailers then the first ones, so I can't wait until those come out.

Cute vs. Hot - I would say hot girls are looks only. They seem like the "untouchable" or "out of my league" type of females. I would say cute girls are relatively attractive, but they have an added bonus that most girls don't have...a personality. They have humor, they have charisma, and they are generally interesting to talk with. Hot girls, I think for me at least, are people that I tend to not talk w/ as much, mostly because I never think I'm good enough for them or something. Classy is a touch of both hot and cute, Catherine Zeta-Jones would be my example of this. She has this image that she has a lot of class, she's attractive, but not over the top, she's more elegant I guess is how I would put it.

Alright, well I am trying to think of more to write, but I really can't. So until next time, see you all later...Peace out.

Pooky comes around like Haley's comet. Except this comet decides to crash land into Earth and fuck up our blog with stupid shit...oh wait...we love stupid shit. Nevermind.

First and foremost we must introduce three new members into our blog. Now this is not without its controversy. First of all this blog was created for the use of six friends to keep in touch with one another without having to send out emails. Not that any of us send out emails anyway. Now we are introducing three new members that quite honestly not everyone on the existing I Love Stupid team knows personally. While they may have met one another briefly, they probably didn’t kick it for that long. Yet I can say the same about Brian. Haha. Now for those that don’t know these three future bloggers you will be happy to know that they are incredibly funny in their own ways. Of course these three are not replacing any of our old bloggers. So let me introduce you to our newest Pooky bitches.

Andy Cates is a close friend that I have known just about as long as Bryant. I continually tell him he should write a movie because he has the quickest wit I know of. The shit this guy says will make you laugh. The genius about this is the fact that when he says funny things he doesn’t laugh at his own shit…too often…which makes it funnier. Maybe he doesn’t have a sense of humor. Either way a welcome addition to our blog and I can’t wait to hear what drunk Andy has to say.

Kevin Kiser is another close friend that I met through Bryant…for better or for worse. He’s a white guy that thinks he is black. I would say like Malibu’s most wanted but that would irritate Kevin. And quite frankly he is a google times funnier. Always says what is on his mind and continues to find a cure for T-bola. What a human being huh? Haha.
Also known as j.reid. Watch out for that fucker. Talks a lot of shit and can back it up.

Tony Chang. Another Korean. What is this blog coming too? I met Tony in high school and has become a close friend ever since. The thing about this guy is that he thinks exactly like me sometimes which is scary. He tells it like it is and is never afraid to make little gestures around the table without any regard of who is there. Again another funny individual that will always have a good story to tell…even if he’s Korean.

So here are our newest members. They are stupid which in turn means for good blogs. I personally cannot wait to see what happens now. Everything must change. Like Pooky says…even if for the worse. Haha.

Alright well I was going to blog about Pirates and the Caribbean and how that Kiera Knightly doesn’t look anything like Natalie Portman in the film. That will just have to wait until next time…

“When I die I want all of my blogs printed out and put into a book to be handed out to everyone who goes to my funeral…that way they won’t be as sad.” BLuckyDay.
Affirmative Action
All right already, two bleachblood yakoos have been invited. You happy now? Quota filled, fuckaz!
What's next, we gonna let the browns in?
The blog will never be the same.
"All good things..."

Chatbox
I put the chatbox up so that other people who read our blog can comment on our posts... not to give Team Pooky another place to write dumb shiet they think is funny. I see that someone has posed as GOD, paying BLuckyDay an overly generous compliment*. I can only assume this was BLuckyDay himself or one of his movie magic boyfriends, because no one else ever says anything nice about that asshole. And as if that wasn't bad enough, someone posed as another supreme being, fuckin Pooky. I'M POOKY. YOU'RE NOT POOKY. Don't try to be me, cause you ain't and you cain't, you non-Pooky bitch. Did I say "J" should be on the team? Fuck no... I don't know who or what "J" is... other than a letter that sucka names start with. Just try and make a suggestion in my name in the posts section... aw you can't! So until you can do that, take credit for your own dumb ideas. But as it turns out, "J" might be worthy of the invite since he already clowned on Eecs Bangs. Correct my nuts, you pale anal nerd! As for "tat", "ferret"** and "Tazzz"... nothing too stupid from them so far, just they only seem interested in reading what "J" has to say. I guess they're tired of you guys already. Well anyways, even though there has yet to be anything worthwhile in the Chatbox, I'm gonna leave it up for you to use as you will. I thought about taking it down, but that would just be childish HAHAHAHA

* "Haha my sons. That BLuckyDay is one funny fuck!"
** "FERRET"??!!!

Apr 23, 2003

I'm trying to go for the record of consecutive posts with some substance in them. Has anyone seen the new screenshots for MarioKart? Drooooool. Nintendo also said that you might be able to play with 8 people by hooking up two gamecubes? Jesus...with MarioGolf just around the corner of MarioKart...It looks like this will be another year where I make no advances in my dreams of directing. Oh well...I got KoopaTroopa in a kart...I'm happy.

Apr 21, 2003

In PookyLand it is desert. So shove it. Gwahaha. In fact I did it on purpose...that's right ON PURPOSE. So then Jon will have to clean off the red marker off his monitor. Haha but then he finds out its permanent! Haha. BLucky wins on stupidity.
Um...Yeah I'm not gonna be able to make that cherry blossom festival...maybe if it was cherry bosom. Well seeing how it already past...well shit...you still get rejected by me! GWahaHaha. That's for that one game of bowling. Yeah I was there too! Hehe.

So tonight we have a wonderful show for you. You might know her of Smallville fame...the fabulous Kristin Kreuk is here! (Applause) Also we have my aunt here all the way from San Jose. That's right...Auntie Mimi will be dropping by! (Applause) And last but not least we have the musical stylings of absolutely no one! So stick around and we'll be right back after these commercial messages!
(Applause...sorta)

A commercial cuts in with a woman showering her hair. Then out of nowhere a cockroach comes out and walks on my fucking screen!!! Jesus shit...I saw this commercial when I was a little tired and I seriously started breathing a little bit harder...I had to go closer to see if it was real...but no so close that it can reach out and kill me. My mom told me that some people are trying to file a lawsuit since they through objects at their television thinking it was a real roach. God damn I hate that commercial.

Welcome back. My first guest is from the WB's hit show Smallville. Please help me welcome the talented Kristin Kreuk! (Applause)

So how have you been?
I'm as good as a Canadian can get. How are you?
I'm doing fine now that you are here! (wink, wink) So let me ask you something. Would you consider yourself hot or cute or classy?
Um I don't know what you're asking...
Oh right. Lemme rephrase that. Do you think you are hot-a, cute-a or classy-a?
Oh. Why didn't you say so? Well I dunno...why do you ask?
Well because I was kicking it with some friends and my friend Tony said that your horse...ahem...Chloe...was fugly.
Well she isn't me...
Ain't that the truth. But then my other friend B.Morris said that there are a hundred, thousand chicks that are hotter than you.
Hmm...well okay.
But then he's half vietnamese...so he doesn't know anything (haha and applause). But then I was thinking to myself that I would actually rather have a cute girl rather than a hot girl...
So what am I? Hot-a or cute-a?
Well I honestly think you are cute...A. See hot girls are hot...but you know...I think there are a lot of girls that people would consider hot, but they are only looking at their bodies. Not that your body ain't bad...shiet...
Okay I guess...this is getting weird.
Yeah don't worry about it. So I personally like the "cute" girls better than hot girls. Perhaps it's cause the hot girls will probably leave my ass. But then like B.Morris said...there are a hundred, thousand girls "hotter" than you. But I think "cute" are more rare.
I'm cute and Canadian
Yeah okay. Never say that again. Classy is in a class by itself. Classy is gone nowadays. Well perhaps there are some starts out there that exude classiness...but when you look at at Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly...I'm not so sure about today. But that is just me.
Well...I'm in Smallville...that's classy
Yeah we ran out of time. I'm sorry Kristin but we will have to continue this conversation back home. Don't forget to pick something up for dinner...and don't bring me a fucking moose wrapped in maple leaves again. You know that shit bugs me.

My next guest is my auntie who hails from my town of San Jose! Please give a hand to Auntie Mimi! (Applause)

How's it going? How is Sydney...er...Sidnie...er...Sydknee...
SYDNIE!
Right. How is she?
A brat.
Word. But she is so cute...sometimes! Haha. So lets get down to why we are here. I heard you have a wonderful desert for us to share with the fellow Pookyers out there.
Okay...well it's complicated but if you follow my directions I think you can do it...First pick up your favorite type of VANILLA ice cream. Next go ahead and pick up NEWMAN'S GRAPE JUICE. All proceeds go to charity and because Paul Newman is dope.
Dope? Dope auntie Mimi?...please just act like yourself. No need to cater to these idiots.
Well anyways put a trillion scoops of ice cream into a bowl and add enough grape juice to the ice cream so it mixes in well...not so it's sitting in a pool of grape juice. Then enjoy your homemade chiller.
That is delicious. Now if you guys did this already...thanks for sharing pricks. But if you haven't you should check this out. Tastes exactly like a Chiller. MMMMMMMMM. Good!
Chicken butt
What? What is that?
OOOoh Brendan
Uh...right...okay time for you to go. Leave the ice cream tho...everyone give Auntie Mimi a big round of applause! Tell Sydnie hi and that she is never going to the aquarium with me if she doesn't start being nice to me! Thanks again for sharing your little discovery with us! (Applause)

Well that wraps up our show for today. Hope you had a wonderful time with us tonight. Tomorrow we will have Kristin Kreuk, B.Morris to square off against her and in the battle of the century...Tony Vs. Horsey (Chloe). Don't miss it! Goodnight!

Apr 17, 2003

Just a quick question... Anyone want to attend the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival on Sunday (Yeah, that's Easter...) I found out I get that day off, and want to do something :) Of course I've never been to this festival so I don't know what it's going to be like... Anyone down?
hehe, thanks for the feed back guys... Jon - Funny you should say the good and the bad... I used to keep a journal on the computer and one of my entries definitely read "Why can’t I remember the bad things, the things I didn’t like about her when I remember?" Man, that was a long time ago! After I wrote that I thought about it. Yes there were definitely things I didn't like about her when we were together... I remember that I never had very much time to spend with you guys, and I remember living in that routine. I know I don't want that now. I donno, I can't explain it too well, but it was like I was weak before. It's as if it was more of an experiment than anything. During the time we were apart, I was able to grow on my own. I have you guys to thank for that. I'm more confident in what I want, and what I believe. No I haven't made a move... I'm still trying to figure her out... See if she's a "perfect fit." (And see if she's really different.)

I guess my past statement on my blog was actually like the Jeans example, going out and getting something or sitting and waiting for something to come up. I am taking a risk in some ways... I'm opening the door again for the pain to come back. I tried to close it off years ago, but things kept leaking through. Now I'm ready to face it. I'll open the door wide and we'll see what happens. Again, thanks for being there, guys. I definitely appreciate. (Except for the kickboxing bit... I've still got some aikido in my system... We're throwing down when I come back! hehehe...)

Bryant: I feel the same way about my parents... I'm always greatful for everything they've given me, and what they're still giving me today. Each day I want to make them proud, and let them see what their son can accomplish... Parents... Gotta love them, even though they did impose some harsh rules in the past! :)

Brendan: I was watching CSI the night you put up your icon... Except the episode dealt with sadism/masochism... And then I looked at your icon... WORD. hehe joking aside, it's a good work of art!

So yeah... I just took another set of midterms this time around... It was funny: my econ professor comes in with our blue books... He then proceeds with lecture. A few minutes later, a student asks him if he's going to hand back the tests. The professor looks around and says "No, I'll pass it back at the end of class. It's too hard to lecture over crying." He then puts up a little distribution graph for us to stare at for the hour he lectures... 50 F's and 14 A's... I kinda like his sense of humor.

Anyway, it's late... I don't think I'll go to my morning class tomorrow... I hate spring semesters... My boss actually hit the nail on the head when he said: "That was my down fall... Fall semesters: A's and B's... Spring semesters: D's and F's." There's something about spring that makes me not want to do work. But happily it's more controlled this time around.

Til next time... (I want that Master Sword Damnit! Class starts in 5 minutes! NOT ENOUGH TIME! How the hell am I going to fit a woman in the schedule? Better yet, what about FRIENDS?!?! Wahhh.)

Zzzzz....
Brian - tread carefully. I read the statement on your blog, not totally sure what it meant. I don't know if you've already made a move or anything, but contemplate the pros and cons of everything. Putting yourself out there for a girl is a huge step for us fellaz. The heart is a fragile piece of our lives, so all I will say is be careful. If things don't go your way, remember you have friends here who will comfort ya.

Jonathan - I like your analogy. It makes sense, I think it fits me pretty well. To stay in your analogous state, I will just say that I will keep trying on "jeans" until I find the perfect fit (for me). I don't believe those cliches are bullshit and the same with fate. I am a strong believer in fate, but I'm not going to argue with you about it because it's not logical. I know that and I know you will win any argument with any of us if it has to do w/ it being logical or not. But it doesn't mean I can't have faith in it right? I think it's like religion too. A lot of the stories in the bible don't seem like they could possibly ever happen, they're not logically supposed to happen, but we still believe in something right? Maybe not all of us. But I think having faith in something, having a reason for living, having a purpose and beliefs, all which may not be widely accepted or shared, are meaningful to all our lives. As for the cliches being a "fall back," we could even say a crutch to make us feel better or more comfortable about things not working out, I don't believe that either. I'm sure in some cases that could be true. For me, I truly think if it wasn't meant to be, there are signs out there, breaking up being the biggest one, but not always the deciding factor. For any of you to believe in any of this, you have to believe in my bullshit, also known as Fate. I'm not lazy, afraid (how can you not be scared of a relationship, uncertainty) or indecisive (well not totally). But another reason why those cliches might not be bullshit to me is also because I am for the most part an optimist, I try to find something good in everything and for me, a break up could be a good thing. Example being, if something wasn't meant to be, why would I want to be in there, therefore the break up was a good thing.

Being proactive is a good thing, but if you constantly fail, that could destroy someone's self confidence. But if you don't want any "what ifs," then go out there and give it a shot, not just talking about relationships. Regret is a bitch and there is no one to blame but yourself if you don't try.

The only person that came to mind so far about girls that we find attractive that most wouldn't is....
Michelle Branch. I don't know what it is, because her look doesn't really appeal to me, but there's just something about her...I dunno...

Brendan - Your new icon is sick. I liked your old one, but I think this depicts your true demented, sadistic, demonic ways. To your last breath before you die, I would say - "You mother fucker, I was going to give you the vaccine too, selfish bitch!" haha jk, all in good fun...but would I really cure Brendan? ....Make a movie! Make me a star!

Steve - your blog was funny. I never saw the Videogame player thingy on MTV, but I guess I need to see it to fully understand your blog. Being an asshole is fun sometimes, definitely to those who deserve or to innocent bystanders who don't know you're talking shit (jk). You're not a loser...who's the big winner? I'm gonna ask you who the bigger winner...Who's the big winner? Stevie! Steve-O! Steven! Creme Puff!??? Overall, you're the big winner. Happy w/ life, active in extra-curriculars, good gf (I suppose, know nothing about her, but you two are still together so something has to be going right), and you know a Korean (that's me)...so life can't get any better for you! Well, maybe if you knew two Koreans, but some may say that could be excessive. (Suicide hand gesture hehe)

Zelda - Sailing around does become somewhat gay, but when it's all said and done, it's still a great game. I'm in Ganon's Tower right now, trying to go through a shit load of doors to God knows where.

I've been down in the dumps lately, a little family trouble, but I gotta have faith that things will turn out ok. Smile and continue on with business as usual.

THE FARMER AND HIS WIFE
Brian, that’s a tough one.

My first instinct says you should just stay away. I wish I knew more of the details of your relationship while it was going on… other than you guys “reading” together. But back then you didn’t volunteer a whole lot of info. What I do know worries me, all the shit that came out after you guys broke up: she was needy, didn’t have her own friends, monopolized your time… and then after all you sacrificed (namely, chill time with Steve and me heh punk), something happened and she just dropped you. Then there was the awkward phase, and her invite-and-ignore-Brian parties... but eventually, after a long time you got over it and were ready to move on and never see her again (and were ready to pursue married girls wheee). I don’t want to see this become a cycle. I know it’s easy for old feelings to come back. And we often find comfort in familiarity, even if it’s not in our best interest.

On the other hand, I never got the full picture of how happy you were when you were together. If, at the time, she really seemed like the one for you… and somehow you feel that way again… I guess it might be worth a shot. I definitely agree that you don’t want to end up wondering “what if?”… we’ve done that enough already. So if, after reflecting on all the good and all the bad, you still feel like trying something again, then just be careful and keep your head in reality. And keep us posted so we can set you straight when you need it.

If I got any of this wrong, I apologize for misrepresenting the situation, and seriously would like to be refreshed on the accurate story… this is just how I remember it. MEANWHILE, I’ll find the most tall, nappy, farmer-looking guy in kickboxing class to practice beating down, in case any leave-after-one-game-of-bowling ideas come creeping back. >=)

TAKING WHAT YOU GET
The question I raised with Bryant was not about settling in general. I agree there’s no truly perfect match, and you might always wonder about other possibilities. I was making a distinction between (a) taking risks to pursue what you really want, and (b) waiting for something to come to you.

If you’re still not getting it, here’s an analogy:
Shopping.
For jeans.

You have ideas of what you want: style, color, size… and you know it must be available somewhere. All you have to do is go out to some stores and look. The risk? Maybe they won’t have your size. Maybe they’ll be black when you want blue. When this happens, sure, it’ll hurt like hell and you’ll cry, but eventually you get over it and try another store. If you keep trying, eventually you’ll find your fit. Because come on, there are plenty of jeans stores in the sea. That’s word.

Now…
What if you only bought jeans from door-to-door salesmen? Why risk going to the store, you might get hurt again . You decide to wait until the salesmen come to you. You choose from whatever selection they offer. Sure, it’s simple, effortless, convenient… and you might even find a decent fit, and be content with what you get. But there’s a whole world of denim out there you’re not even giving yourself a chance to try on.

So where in the context of this analogy does each of us fit in?

Brendan - doesn’t want to spend his money at a store, or even on gas to get there. Fuck jeans.
Brian - tried a few white jeans in the past. The last comfortable pair was from a store that closed, but recently reopened. He’s considering going back to see what’s in stock now.
Bryant - the door-to-door salesmen know his house well. The jeans look pretty good in catalogs, so he’s ordered a few. After a while they get worn out, but salesmen keep coming around. Right now he’s got a fitting pair, but he’s moving soon and might not have room in his suitcase.
Derek - I don’t know all the stories, but I’ve heard he’s been to a lot of stores and ended up not liking them very much. He no longer makes any special effort to shop. Brendan maintains that he actually likes tights.
Jonathan - this frugal picky bastard never buys new clothes. A few times he tried some on but they never seemed to fit quite right. Once he went to a store at 99 Ranch and brought home a good pair of jeans and kept them for a while. But one day he rode a horse, they broke, and now they’re gone. He tried a French store but someone else took the last of his size… he hasn’t shopped since.
Steve - one time he found some jeans he really, really liked. He paid a lot for them, but the dumb bitch cashier left the security tag on. He returned them but lost the receipt so he didn’t get his money back. He ran over a cat on the way home. After a couple repeats or similar disasters, he finally found some jeans that worked out for him, and is probably wearing them right now.

“If it’s meant to be, eventually it’ll happen.”
“It didn’t work out. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.”
My current belief is that such “meant to be” clichés are bullshit. People fall back on them when they are too lazy, afraid, or indecisive to take control of their own lives. Sure, sometimes it is best to wait and see. But don’t make up excuses or mystical destiny-driven reasons (well... if you happen to believe in destiny, that's just a whole other debate). I’d just like to think that over time we all have and will become more confident and proactive in pursuing our own goals and happiness. Here’s hoping…

BEETLEJUICE GIRL, INTERRUPTED?
Ah, the less-celebrated female celebrities… I happen to like Winona Ryder. She has a classic kind of beauty, and though she might not be able to pull off shoplifting, she pulls off the short hair bob quite nicely. I’ve already heard opposition… “WINONA RYDER?!” said Bryant a while back, apparently shocked to find her among my pictures. Wendy thinks she looks plain. Anyways, she’s one of my picks.

Oh actually since this post took so long I thought of another one. When I saw The Mummy Returns I thought Rachel Weisz was really attractive. Since then I’ve seen pictures where she doesn’t look so good… but on screen, at the time, she was appealing.

NEW BLUCKY ICON

looks just like you…
heh and you said mine looked Chinese…

Well I’m not sure if this one or the old one was a more accurate representation… but I’d say this one is scarier. Anywhich, it’s a cool drawing and very nicely colored.

ILL
Wait a second… look at this timestamp… that can’t be right, Jonathan is working full time now… neh?

Ah, the sick day. Paid time off. Nice.

I got home, and Reid (on spring break) asked with a grin, “Did you get fired?” Fortunately not. I went in to Sunnyvale for a training class this morning from 8-12. I was feeling pretty bad already, but afterward was still planning to work and see how I felt as the day went on. By the time I reached Palo Alto I was feverish, so I decided to leave my manager an email and head home.

So here’s one good thing about work. Sick days are no longer all bad. Back in school, when you got sick you’d stay home and know that when you went back you’d have extra work to do. That’s shiet in a knapsack waiting to funk up your life. But when you get sick days off from work, you can sleep, read, watch movies, or even finally post a blog that the world has been eagerly awaiting. Worth it.

Apr 14, 2003

Aww the double blog. How I love thee. I saw a sneak preview of Eecs's blog, but I guess he thought it wasn't up to par. I thought it was pretty funny when I skimmed through it. So this blog is just a little explanation of the new icon. You can interpret it however you like. No need to go into far fetched shit like film theory. Take what you want from it. I will however just point out for you art freaks out there (Bryant and Jon) how I did this icon in a quick fashion.

The background was not stolen. I drew that. Started with a square. Cut and paste, cut and paste. Then I screened the layer to make blood stains on the wall and changed the curves to give it a mildew look. Rounded it up with some cheesy lighting effects. The mask and straight jacket has been texturized, although you can see it as well as I would have liked. Oh well. Look for the big on an update to MA. If i get around to it. I then just layered color over color then finished off with some blood work. No Streamline...just penciled it in and painted. Oh well. I like the overall mood it conveys. However those buckles leave something to be desired.

Second draft of script is done. That's enough of that.

Okay so I'll talk to you guys later. I need to start thinking of that fucking inspiration page that has been neglected for so long. Kinda like Jon and his blogs. Peace out from the crazy go nuts hall in the asylum.

Apr 9, 2003

There are few things that piss me off the world. I think this is stepping over the line a bit. Seeing how the business that someday I would like to control are being idiots, I feel it is my duty to speak as much shit as possible about the people who are controlling it now. Here is the news. Of course if you don't like DragonBall then you can disregard all this stuff. Well I guess you can imagine what I'm about to say. Now some of you may have heard about this Live Action DBZ movie a while ago. I just had it confirmed today.

So let me get this straight. How about we get the Matrix people to copy and paste the special effects engine they built for the Matrix. Except that instead of using "Whoa" Keanu Reeves of Dogstar fame or whatever the fuck his stupid band is called and we will replace him with none other than Freddie Prinze Jr. who seemed awefully "high" on Leno the other night. I can see it now. Freddie shouting out and turning blond just like it was Scooby Muta Fucka Doo. Since we already doomed this franchise by actually making it live action lets keep tossing shit in the toilet until it builds up so high that when we wipe we get shit on our hands. The green-olive kind that just doesn't look right, but smells even worse. How about we get some stupid fuck like Shane West to be Vegeta. Oh yeah...the new Mr. Bad Boy of Hollywood. I can see those two fucks going at it DBZ styles. As director I would obviously split the screen down the middle like Bandai games to add to the DBZ universe.

Ten bucks says that the producers did not even look at the Manga and just found out that "hey this can be good, I mean shiet we are doing Akira...lets keep taking it to those Nips for Pearl Harbor". Whatever. Now obviously some of you may not be DBZ fans, but I like it. I like the fast action, the stupid lines, the ever growing Genki Damas, but fuck. Maybe Jim Carrey can be Buu. He can wear a trashbag and be painted pink to add to the effect. I bet Dawson is going to be Trunks with Kirsten Dunst rounding out 17. Rejoice Hollywood. You just fucked up another otherwise cool series. Last I checked Street Fighter wasn't a good idea. I can't until I see Ranma 1/2 go live. Should be fun.

So here is the breakdown of some scripts I got.

Drug ridden Modesto with teens running around looking for shit to do. How does it end? Didn't even finish it.

A new recruit faces a decision of a lifetime. Stay with the boot camp or go home defeated by himself. Whee.

One that sounds actually cool. A girl recieves a letter after 40 years that never made it to her. It is a letter from her boyfriend telling her to meet her at 6:00...40 years ago. In the end it turns out the guy has been waiting at that spot for 40 years. Kinda remind me of that Days Go By song.

Three idiots are faced with the difficult decision of who is going to take one for the team. What kind of name is Larry anyways...and this one has way too much cussing in it to be effective. I liked it.

Alright that's all for now. Anyone got 3000 dollars you can loan me so I can buy my Mac? Oh yeah and I miss Girl's Club. Haha. Its not funny.

until i get a PS2...or a game for my comp...

no more video game talk. EVER. Heheh. jk.

UNLESS of course, you have accomplished a perfect game on pacman..and make a neighborhood..oopz i mean WORLD-WIDE known hot sauce. So world wide known that you have to go the fucking super markets and rearrange the bottles. Loser. Also, you have had to deal with the pacman groupies. Man that must be hard, loser. Also, you have had to have used the pick up line "Quarter??? I'm on the same MAN baby!!". Yeh i'm sure when you tell the ladies that you've gotten every energizer in one game of pacman..wow..the panties must be soaked. Good one, loser. Also, wear a mullet. Loser. And gay ass ties, loser. Also, talk about how ur gonna set this crazy video game record by playing a perfect game of defender or burger time. Loser. Oh, and while ur at it, you can set a world wide record for spending the most years as the biggest fucking loser in the world.

{this joke will be completely misunderstood unless you have watched BLuckz tape on the MTV real life "I'm a gamer"...look for the loser...oh wait that's all of them. okay..look for the loser who plays the pacman game. There's no loser like a cocky loser}

I love being an asshole. But only to those who deserve it.

BTW, i'm a big fucking loser too, so this is why i can talk shit about all the other losers out there.

Okay so everything is back to normal. Well not with some of my stupid family members. Whatever. I'm tired of it. I hope you guys don't think I was really stressing about it all. I know it came off harsh, but you know me. I only care for myself. So that whole thing was mainly there because I thought you guys might find it funny. In a certain way I hope some of my family members that were written about see it. This oughta be a lot of fun. Oh yeah. Restraining Order: DENIED. Thanks for the laughs you stupid bitches. Don't ever cross my eyeline. I don't really know how I'm going to ignore the fat herd when I get to Fresno...but I figure I can look at them and be thankful I'm not that stupid.

So back to normal. I got Zelda. Beat Zelda last Friday. Good game. Few complaints though. Our dear friend Andy had some words with me about Zelda as well. He doesn't mind the minor setbacks. I do.

Sailing around is overrated. If you are a hardcore Zelda fan you like dungeons. You like solving puzzles in those dungeons. Where the fuck are my dungeons in WindWaker. Well they are gone. Okay there are a few...but when I say few I mean like five. The first three just act as tutorials for the game. And the last dungeon...with the title Ganon's Tower I would have liked to see a Tower. With multiple enemies. Multiple rooms. Multiple puzzles. You should not be able to pass that final dungeon in less than an hour on your first try. Simple as that.

Second gripe is that it is too easy. Hey you touch lava you lose a quarter heart. You fall off a cliff you lose a quarter heart. You drown you lose a quarter heart. Thanks I got like 16 full hearts. I think I can manage a little more damage. Shit even if I took massive damage...every enemy gives me full health after they die anyways. Oh yeah and Ironknuckles are pussies in this game. I guess all the water got to their brains.

Side quests. Andy is a sidequest whore. He past GTA:Vice City again. Shit I'll give him respect. That's a huge game and he completed 100 percent of it. Props to that. But Zelda is not about sidequests. Andy tried to argue that the old Zelda's had sidequests. Hardly. If you take all the sidequests in all Zelda affiliated games and times them by two, you are still not near what Windwaker offers you. So why do I not like sidequests...AHA I never said that. What I'm saying is that Zelda is not about sidequests. Don't screw with a series. If you do you might as well make Mario a simulator about dressing Mario up in different clothing stores. It could work. Shigeru...you had your fun with sailing...but get back to what Zelda is. A solid action RPG...don't add time to a game by making us sail everywhere and bog us down with collecting heart pieces we don't need.

I don't care what Andy thinks. He has to concede that Zelda has been Final Fantasized. This means (and you have to have at least played more than a couple of Final Fantasy games to believe me on this one) that the sidequests take away from the overall story of the game and make the game way too easy. Don't believe me. In the Final Fantasy games where I got Ultimate Weapons and Ultimate Summons: Game easier than fuck. Zelda same way. Now of course so I don't get blindsided by some arguments I will say that the sidequests are cool. Yet one of the sidequests is just like Pokemon Snap for the N64. The other requires finding heart pieces that you will not need. A lot of them don't add to the story and aren't a puzzle to get. They are just there for you to find. I got bored with it.

So Zelda is dope. I will give you that. I am a very dedicated Zelda fan. I might be called a "fanboy" when it comes to this cherished series...all I'm saying is that the Zelda universe is heading in the right direction...I just think that it took an exit to early. Smash all the little pussy islands together and you get the size of the map in the original Zelda. Either way, the end is dope. The last boss is dope. The graphics are dope. Running errands instead of Zelda-esque game play is bullshit.

Evanescense. I told Bryant that if LP threw out talent and replaced Chester with Enya you got Escense. It'll grow on me though. Of course LP isn't the first to define this genre of music but everytime I hear it...it just sounds like a rip of LP with subtle nuances. They got a track on their album called "October"...I told B that they should just change it to "My October". Who the fuck are they kidding.

As to Jon's question: You always settle. I don't care who you are. If I was dating Kristin Kreuk right now and she was all over me...I bet my ass that I would still think that there is something out there rather than a Canuck. But that is me. I hope I don't "settle" in the most negative definition. But I think everyone settles for something. Posing a question like that is impossible to answer. Of course Jon the logical one will think otherwise. Remember not everyone is like you or anyone else for that matter. My definition for settle still involves being happy. Yet it is human nature to always wish for more. If you never settle then you will never reach any goals and you will feel like a complete failure in life. Makes sense? I doubt it. Then again you are not me. See I told you. Different shit for all of us. BTW Bryant will be married soon. T-Bola has her clutches around him too much. Have fun buddy. Let's drink till our hearts stop!

So this whole conversation that Jon and I had about actresses got me thinking a little bit. Everyone knows the usual girls that we believe are cute. Kristin/Olivia for me. Halle Berry for Jon. TBola for Bryant...BUZZ incorrect. She is not an actress...get her ass outta here now. Bryant likes Kristin/Katie that girl from 10 Things. Well whatever. So we all know the popular choices. I thought it would be cool to think of famous people that don't qualify as the "of course you think she's fine" description. I know we all have some people in the back of our heads. I dunno. I thought this might be fun.

I can speak for Kevin and I when I say that we like Maura Tierney. Not really sure. Definetely not Brendan's standard type but I like her. Yeah blah blah blah she's older. That's good. She can pay the bills. ER must be paying her some decent money. Well whatever. I got some more somewhere in the back of my head. Maybe I should create a list of who we cannot say: Olivia, Kristin, Alyssa, Katie, Halle, Josie, Jessica etc. We know who the main people are. Have fun...it'll be cool to see who you always thought was cute. Especially when we all say that she is ugly. Hehe.

Whatever happened to Mental Abstraction? Bitch just stopped updating. Damn straight. Oh yeah congrats to Bryant on the one month with his ball and chain. It takes a lot of effort to lug that shit around all the time...but you did it. Here is to many more. LET'S DRINK TILL OUR HEARTS STOP OR WE ALL DIE OF THE EBOLA VIRUS...WHICHEVER COMES FIRST...

*plops down dead*

With his last dying breath Brendan softly whispers, "No you can't have my Wega. A killer like T-Bola doesn't deserve it cause she would take that shit away as quickly as your freedom to not drive everywhere. Haha. Ugh...there is no God...I knew it..."

Brian, I'm glad you bought Evanescence, I think it's a great CD, glad you like it too. I would've felt bad if you would've bought it and hated it hehe. Zelda is awesome, the GBA SP does enhance it a little, I'm still looking forward to going to that special island on Animal Crossing. School shmool...Videogames should always take first priority in life hehe. Puzzle fighter is awesome, I can't wait to kick ass at it! Megaman's are tough, but I'll keep at it.

Friends after a breakup - it is a tad of a cruel joke, depending on if you still like the person or not. In my experience it hasn't worked out all too well. Kellene, we talk every so often, but it's minimal at best, just to catch up. Irene - Zilch, which is good, Natalie - pretty much nil, e-mail here and there, Kat - every so often online. I think she's one of the few ex's that I would want to keep in touch with and actually care about how she's doing. It's always nice to try, but for some reason things get too weird. I think it's because I was never really "best friends" with my gfs, they never knew everything about me, like a Brendan or an Andy. I think in general, I'm really bad in keeping in touch with people and if I don't see long-term friendship involved then I don't waste my time. I say only try and become friends if you are willing to make the effort and you do see this person as someone who you will be friends w/ for a long time. I'm not sure if you were implying on getting back together with her also, and I've never gotten back together with an old flame so I don't know how those work out. If she feels the same way of giving it a go again, give it a whirl, but don't expect things to be the same. Also you may disregard everything I am saying since I know little, to zero about Lori, but I decided to chime in my 2 cents in case anyone cared hehe.

School - only a little time left. It seems that these years have gone by so fast. I can't believe it! We're all are almost about to graduate which could be our final years in school ever, grad school is still a possibility but it's not the same. I would like to visit everyone before they leave their schools, so Steve if you have a good weekend for me to come down, I would love to visit SD one more time, Brian I've never been to Sonoma so I would like to see what it's like...since you'll be there next year I guess I have more time, Derek you're too close to visit, Jonathan...I don't want to visit your home anymore hehe j/k, Brendan SF State has too many foreigners. So pretty much I would like to visit Steve and Brian. So let me know of a good weekend and I'm there. If any of you want to visit me, any weekend is pretty good, I don't have class MWF, so feel free to visit anytime.

Relationships - Tiff and I are doing well, just past the month mark...woo hoo! I'm going to try and beat my 3 month mark! haha. She's a cool girl and kick back, I hope all of you get a chance to meet her. And Brendan, we'll find the monkey soon...What are these marks are my arms and legs?!?!

Interesting Question - Jonathan posed me a question while I was in town that got me thinking a little bit...if I wasn't in a relationship would I start approaching girls and become more proactive in making the first move. This could be friends that I might've liked or just some random person. His logic made perfect sense, how most of us just sit back and wait for someone to like us and that in turn, leads us to dating someone. We never really get to choose and it can almost seem like we're settling. I never thought of it as settling, but it could seem that way. I always saw it as a sign to take a chance and that this person could be the 'one' or there is a reason that we're supposed to meet a certain someone. Whether it's to teach us something or if it's because this person is truly special. Who knows, for someone to believe in my theory has to believe in fate in some way or another. But I think my thinking could change once I get out of school because opportunities to meet girls will decrease as I start working and not being in a total social environment, so a person like me might have to learn to take some initiative in meeting someone. For now, I won't worry about it since I'm in a relationship soon, but ask me again when/if I become single in the near future, I thought it was an excellent question to think about.

Woo hoo, I just got Dark Cloud 2, so I already have a game to beat after I beat Zelda! I can't wait until I work, so many games to buy, so little time.

As of now, top 10 videogames that I've played (consoles only)...only because Andy brought up the topic of Halo are...no particular order:

Techmo Super Bowl - my first love of sports games
Super Mario 3 - when I saw it on the Wizard, I crapped my pants and made my parents get it for me for X-mas. Graphics blew me away.
Madden - the series that has never disappointed me, graphics and game play are as good as ever
Zelda - Wind Waker - only zelda I've played besides GBA one now, but graphics and cartoony look make me love this game
Super Puzzle Fighter - endless hours of fun in multi-player action.
Metal Gear Solid - first movie like game that I've played. Soundtrack and voices blew me away, missions got me in suspense.
Metal Gear Solid 2 - Raiden was a little panzy, but this game is still as good as the original w/ updated graphics, once again soundtrack is awesome!
Kingdom Hearts - One of few games where I was in touch w/ the character. Disney characters increased the appeal and the graphics were stunning!
Halo - Everything a person could want in a first person shooter. Levels were exciting and multi-player action increases the fun factor.
Golden Eye tie w/ Perfect Dark - Similar games, Golden eye being the original and first first person shooter that I ever played. Spent hours and hours playing both w/ friends.

These are the ones that come to mind, I'm sure if I looked at my old games I would be able to think of more.
Honorable mentions - Harvest Moon 64, Rogue Squadron, Super Mario Bros., Megaman 2, NHL 94, Socom (only because of multiplayer action)
I'm sure we've had a list like this before, but I just wanted to write these down again.

Anyway, I'm done babbling, back to the books and already playing catch up heheh! Peace out, take care and I'll see you all soon.
