Well, well, well....guess who has found some time to write...

The working world is not that fun, though people never said it was, but jeez, your life is seriously a routine. I'm breaking the routine right now by writing in the blogger. Gives me something exciting to do...

Poker
God damn this hobby is expensive....well that is until you get good or extremely lucky. I've had a lot of fun playing poker, but I'm going to kick back for a while and play some home games to gain experience and maybe read on the side. I know I said I would never read, but this is a game that I want to get good at. I know it'll take me some time, but I just want to be confident at the tables and be able to bet with ease. Not questioning myself, not second guessing, just
throwing the chips and being semi-confident in what my opponents are holding. A lot of respect is given to Brendan and Jonathan for what they've learned. I know it hasn't been easy especially at first...thanks for the advice
on hands....=)

TV Shows
Save by the Bell is not a quality show, it's not witty, it's not smart, but somehow it draws you in. It gave people a stereotyped high school w/ nerds vs the jocks, the cool popular guy, the hot cheerleader, the brainy girl, etc. Sometimes for me, it was a show that represented how I wish school was like. Problems occured but somehow they were solved and the love story b/w Kelly and Zach always drew me in.

Fresh Prince of Bel Air was also one of my favorite shows. I thought the acting by everyone in the Banks family was hilarious. Will Smith had such charisma, Carlton was nerdy but did/say funny things, Hilary was ditzy funny, Uncle Phil had the fat jokes and Jefferey was a classic smart ass with all his comments. Though the serious episodes were cheesy, what sitcom wasn't? I always liked sitcoms that had a moral, storyline, etc, that gave it a change of pace.

Cosby Show was another classic comedy. Bill Cosby was one of the best father figure dads I've seen in a sitcom. He treated his kids almost like any other parent would. The Cosby show wasn't a super cheesy family sitcom. The show would've been much without the acting/comedic style that Cosby had. I will always remember the episode where Theo doesn't want to go to college and he uses monopoly money to exemplify what his life would be like without school. Classic episode!

The Simpsons are another classic show to this day where I still get mad at myself if I miss an episode. Though as of late the show hasn't been as funny, it still has so many classic moments where I still find myself quoting episodes left and right.

ER, West Wing, are good shows, though I don't watch them as much, I still enjoy the few episodes that I catch.

Transformers was an ok cartoon, back then I loved them, but now I watch the animation and I think how could I like them. Though the story was relatively the same, I still enjoyed Optimus kicking ass and the autobots running the show. The movie was a great cartoon to movie adaptation. Complete shocker when prime dies!

I'm sure there are a lot more out there, I'm just not thinking about them. Some classic TGIF was Full House, cheesy of the cheesy, but I still enjoyed it, I can't tell you why =)

Disneyland
I'm glad you guys had the best time ever, maybe next time I will be able to attend. The buttons comment in Jon's blog cracks me up everytime I think about it haha. LA was a little far of a drive for a one day trip, but maybe next time. I swear I want to go to Vegas sometime soon, Tiff was going to go in November, but now it could be postponed until winterbreak which is semi-gay haha.

Relationships
It's funny when I think about Jon's post about attitudes when him and Steve were single. I believe there was a time when we were all single and all down on ourselves. I think most of us were in the same boat, hopefully no one pissed on my things when I started dating more, but who knows you guys are assholes! Well I think almost everyone in this blog can reflect on their time in college (minus Brendan) and at least say that they were/tried to be in a relationship. I got my first relationship since Jr year in my 3rd year of college, which felt like eternity to me. But I can say all the waiting was worth it and I learned a lot in my years at college and I'm still learing more as we speak in my current relationship. I'm happy for everyone as well...brendan will find someone when he wants to, Derek is pretty much in the same boat, Kevin has millions of girls on him so I'm not really feeling sorry for him jk, Brian is going to find the perfect girl who plays DDR and loves pokerroom and Jonathan there will be someone in your life again. We'll keep the same game plan if you want when clubbin =)

Alright, well I think I've written enough to satisfy everyone's taste for a bit. I will try and blog on here more often so this doesn't turn out like Ricki's blog where only one person writes in it...haha jk...

Take care guys, have fun where ever you're at!
