Small update since we haven't posted anything for a month now! What the hell is up with that?

Anyway, Pokerroom is back in full swing. They sure have changed stuff since I've been away. Now there are multi-table tournaments going on almost every hour. I was able to participate in one this last weekend. There were about 200 people signed up and the top 10 walked away with some cash, I think the 1st place came away with $500. Anyway, I lasted about an hour and a half only to be bumped out at 53rd place. I decided on my last hand that a KJo was a strong enough hand to go all in. I should have known I was going up against an AK, but whatever. Flop comes Ace and 2 junkers. So I walk away a loser.

Speaking of losers... There are still a lot of them on the regular tables. Thank god for the WPT being televised :) So I'm back to playing a little bit of poker til we get our sorry butts to Vegas.

Road trips: I know not everyone is interested, but Nobuo Uematsu (The Final Fantasy music guy...) is coming to LA on May 10th to perform music from Final Fantasy with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. I'm considering flying down that day to see this. I mean, who doesn't want to hear Final Fantasy music conducted by the man himself? Anyone else interested? I can only go for that day since I've got a final the next day. (Studying? Whatever.) But the press release is here for those interested. The website also has 2 awe-inspiring rock remixes of FFVII's battle music and FFV's major theme (Uh, i think.) Front seats have been taken already, and they're asking around 80 for the next seats up.

And does FF: Crystal Chronicles actually end? It's starting to get a bit repetitive.
