What I learned watching Tokyo TV.

Alright, so while I was researching stuff for Brendan's new computer, I wanted some background noise. I turned on the TV and switched to good old channel 26. After listening to and not getting very much from a drama of the Shinsengumi, I finally heard a word I understood: Abunai. Danger/dangerous. I looked over to see some lady in a car run off a pier. Interested, I watched and learned how to:

1.) Break a window in a submerged vehicle. (wrap some coins in cloth and slam it against the window. A foot usually doesn't work.)

2.) Jump from a burning boat. (plug nose with your hand jump feet first with your feet flat.)

3.) Defeat a savage monkey... Uh. I guess there's a killer monkey problem in Japan? (Stand very still.)

4.) Defeat a bear and wild boar. (Use a brightly colored tarp and wave it around against a bear... Use a brightly colored umbrella against a wild boar.)

5.) Survive a plane crash with a blanket. (Don't ask, can't explain that one.)

6.) Escape from a kidnappers trunk. (Apparently, there's a wire that travels from the latch of the trunk to the front of the car. Pulling on this simulates the effect of pulling up on the trunk release latch.)

7.) Save a 15 kg child from a 9 m fall with a blanket. Gotta love the metric system instead of the ass backwards inch and foot business. (instead of trying to catch a child in the blanket, aim the blanket in a 45 degree angle from the ground. It'll actually break his fall, without tearing the blanket.)

8.) How to detect if you're having a stroke. (I think.)

So this is my excuse for not working on the computer :P Nah, seriously I'll have it up in a little bit.

In other news.
I'm moving back home for a month starting July 4th. Some managers are relocating to different CEC's and they're short a few managers in that area. They called me up since they knew I lived in the area and had nothing better to do for my summer. It's actually a good thing though, since I can actually VISIT you guys? And I won't miss this year's obon. So get those cards ready! My first nights off are July 9th and 10th (Friday/Saturday)... I'm so looking forward to being home for a little while.
