Re: Brendan @ Table Mountain

First... I'm pretty sure no one in Team Pooky thinks you'd gamble crazy money away or that you're a bad poker player, so enough of that nonsense. And if that rep protection is intended for our massive non-member audience... you want them to think you suck, in case you sit down at the same table one day. Empty their pockets with slowplayed rockets.

Smoking at the table is really irritating. Especially if you have jacked lungs. Second hand smoke... it's like a fat guy who's sure to blow an artery any second picking some cheese from his triple deluxe bacon burger off his plate, tossing it down your throat, and saying, "hey it's up to you to sit there or not, but this is gonna keep happening for the next 1/2 hour." Dirty devil dogs spreading single serving smog.

The odds against your opponent going from nothing to trips from flop to river are indeed close to 180 to 1. I'm guessing the pot wasn't $540 on the flop. But he could also have drawn out with two pair against top pair, improving his chances to about 71 to 1. You don't see a lot of $200+ pots at the flop either though, so in the long run that sucker should lose out. Heavily. To our benefit. One long session, we all have bad nights... just keep your line out there, let the fish take glad bites.
