I don't have a lot of time to dwell on this, but just at a high level, I think all writers of comic/superhero stories put a sort of "God" complex on their characters.

I dunno if they would go as far as saying they are a savior, but they are really portrayed in that manner. Crazy dude/mutant comes to destroy the world, no hope, except for _________. (insert name) Even like in Batman, the cops don't like him, but they come to rely on him. Batman (orginal Michael Keaton) is one example, any trouble they get in they use the bat signal immediately, conceding that they need this person to survive.

I see Justice League almost being correlated with the Greek Gods where a bunch of dudes with a lot of power kind of oversee the Earth. They're not ruling persay, but they are the world's savior from all-powerful beings that show up.

It's kind of funny because a lot of these storylines start out where the humans/non-heroes start out by hating the heroes because they're different -> then they start accepting them because they do something good for them, not because they're just accepting -> then they start relying on them for any and every problem.

I don't really know where I was going with this, just thought of the savior aspect and seeing how it relates to not just Superman.

Religion is interesting subject that everyone differs upon in terms of their thoughts. I think the important part is to have a belief, have a passion in something and to have faith. For some people they rely on a higher being to talk to, to give them strength and for others they just believe in and rely on themselves. Whatever you choose, but I don't believe these can be flaws.

I think life is more flawed by $$, greed, politics and lawyers haha.

Have a good week!
