okay so one of the classes i'm taking, the japanese pop culture class, just had a three hour lecture on anime and it's influence on global culture. It was the best lecture i've had at this damn school.

all i gotta say is: Grave of the fireflies is the most fucking depressing anime ever. I still haven't seen the whole thing, but i did see the first five minutes and holy shit i wanted to cry. Story is this: a guy and his sister's parents are killed by the americans during WWII bombings. He tries to take of her, but he can't and she ends up dying of malnutrition. And then he dies. Another one, called Barefoot Gen, is the most insane anime/manga i've seen about hiroshima. It's fucking traumatizing I swear to god. When I was flipping through the pages of the manga I could feel my skin crawling. It was absolutely terrifying and ...ugh...it's just REALLY FUCKED UP. I strongly suggest u guys watch it.

we watched some doraemon too. Hooray. We also looked a bit into Tentacle Sex. Joy. Porn in schools.

Has anyone seen that new movie "Spirited Away"? Looks pretty good.

I dropped a class (well actually i never added it). So now i'm down to 2 jobs and 3 classes. It's nice mix. I don't think i could have done four classes with the work. It's nice to get a good steady income as well. Of course that will all end when i graduate it's but it's okay cuz i have bryant to fall back on. I'm sure jon will join me on trips to bryants house to eat all the chips and salsa in the cupboard.
Probably borrow some clothes too (new years all over again yay!)

Finally got cable. Saw "you so crazy" again. almost pissed myself laughing.
